Translating marketing content and user manuals for a global leader of headphone and portable speaker solutions. Remote working rules in 2020. Overall it's been more than 50,000 words translated for this client this year, English to Spanish. Translating some marketing materials for technical decision makers by a leading pump manufacturer.

(edited) Automotive repair notes for service personnel may not seem the most exciting topic, 😖 however think of the car owners that rely on engineers clearly understanding instructions that may protect their lives on the road, and it all becomes more encouraging to translate. ❤️

Very technical but engaging at the same time.

Translating a white paper on the advantages of using PET kegs for beer export, instead of the traditional metal kegs. White papers can be great marketing tools when properly structured and published in professional magazines. This is the case with my work today!

(edited) Translating 3,000 words of new product descriptions and marketing texts into Spanish for a regular final client specialised in engineered access hardware. It's amazing how industries are becoming so specialised these days. We don't even think about it, but the simple action of opening a door involves so much engineering work behind!
Learning how to become a better professional by watching the online seminar by SDL, "Future-proofing your translation business - strategies for a long lasting, thriving career as a freelance translator". Very interesting insights. Some seem obvious but it's great when everything is put together into context with a systematic approach. Having fun translating over 5,000 words of Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS). It may sound boring but it is a very important kind of work. Special attention must be paid to use the correct wording as mandated by EU Directives and Regulations, etc.
