In her previous role, as Consular Assistant (Pro Consul), also at the South African Embassy and covering the Levant region, Linda established the section to render consular and immigration services, as well as trade and tourism marketing of South Africa. Among her responsibilities in this role was to provide protocol services, handling public affairs, receiving and handling media groups, receiving and tending to high-ranking official delegations, and generating content for the tourism section of the Embassy’s newsletter.
Linda won numerous merit awards for outstanding performance, awarded by the South African Department of Foreign Affairs (DIRCO) and Embassy in Amman. She also partook in various high-ranking South African official delegations to the region.
In addition to various training workshops, organized by the South African Department of Foreign Affairs and other South African bodies, Linda obtained her degree in Law, from Beirut Arab University & University of Alexandria, and attended her post graduate studies in Political Leadership, at George Washington University’s Post Graduate School of Political Management.
