I am Laura and I have been a translator for more than 10 years.
I am a native Spanish speaker but, after spending more than 15 years studying English during primary and secondary school, it was obvious that English was part of my everyday life and I wanted to pursue a career which was embedded with this language.
After finishing my graduate studies, at the University of Buenos Aires and been granted the Sworn Translation degree and certified by CTPCBA (the Buenos Aires Translators Association), I started working for several translation companies and providing services to law firms based in Argentina.
But fate wanted my life to be out of the ordinary. A couple of years later, I met a diplomat and we moved to Vietnam. This allowed me to work with several NGOs based in Vietnam and to learn some Vietnamese. After two years living in this amazing country, we were given the wonderful news that we would be moving to Belgium.
We have been living in Brussels for more than 5 months and this has awarded me the opportunity to travel a little bit around Europe and to learn a great deal of French.
Although having a translation supplier that moves a lot is not the perfect scenario for most companies and costumers, my clients decided to give it a chance and trust in me, and we have been travelling together.
I hope that you can also be part of this incredible journey.
