Source text - English Carbon nanotubes consisting of seamless and atomically perfect graphitic cylinders generally only a few nanometers in diameter have been synthesized in bulk quantities. The unusual combination of their molecular nature and micrometer-size length gives rise to the uncommon electronic properties of these systems. Electrical transport measurements for individual nanotubes indicate that these systems behave as genuine quantum wires, nonlinear electronic elements or transistors.

Cryotherapy – treatment using low temperatures – is not a new technique. Many players are on the market and competition is heavy. Roughly spoken, the market is separated between contact cryotherapy devices like the Kryotur 600 and devices blowing cold air on the zone to be treated. Within this last group of airflow devices one part is using, expensive rechargeable gas cylinders, others like our Cryoflow use free cooled down surrounding air! The main disadvantage of both last techniques is that temperature at the outcome of the hose can be measured, but never the temperature that really matters; the one of the treated zone itself. That’s why we’ve turned all our expertise to the development of an intelligent hand piece on our Cryoflow device, not only measuring the temperature on the treated zone, but adjusting this airflow automatically in accordance with the temperature reached on the skin. This enables the therapist to setup his treatment very easily; He puts the patient in a comfortable position, positions the treatment head on the required area, fixes the temperature and from then on the Cryoflow IR will automatically adept its airflow in order to reach it continuously.

In quest'ultimo gruppo di dispositivi a flusso d'aria, una parte impiega costose bombole di gas ricaricabili, altri, come il nostro Cryoflow, impiegano l'aria libera circostante raffreddata! Il principale svantaggio di ambedue le tecniche è la possibilità di misurare la temperatura all'uscita del tubo, ma mai la temperatura che veramente interessa, ovvero quella della stessa zona trattata. Ecco perché abbiamo rivolto tutta la nostra competenza allo sviluppo di un'impugnatura intelligente sul nostro dispositivo Cryoflow, che non solo misura la temperatura sulla zona trattata, ma regola automaticamente il flusso dell'aria in base alla temperatura raggiunta sulla pelle. Ciò permette al terapista di preparare con molta facilità il trattamento: dispone il paziente in una posizione comoda, posiziona la testina del dispositivo di trattamento sull'area richiesta, imposta la temperatura e da quel momento Cryoflow IR regolerà automaticamente il flusso d'aria in modo da mantenerla costante.
