Bio

  6 months or a year
scholarship to Japan which one would you choose? Most People would prefer a
year, right? However, deciding to travel for 6 months in 2019 to study in Japan
as an exchange student in Hokkaido University of Education to get my Bachelor of
Arts Degree from both Cairo University and Hokkaido University of Education.
And here is the turning point, this scholarship 100% improved my skills, way of
thinking and introduced a whole different culture from various countries which,
opened my mind to wide horizons that I am ambitious to see and learn a lot
from. On the other side if I had chosen to travel for a year It would have been
in 2020 which we all know how hard it was on all sectors.

  I am Graduate from
Japanese Department in faculty of Arts Cairo University/Hokkaido University of
Education in August 2020 with Very Good and Honours degree. Cairo University
allowed me the chance to participate in Organising such Important and
International events, Conferences and Contests that related to Embassy of Japan
in Egypt.

  In addition, I have
participated in a lot of different activities other than the University
activities such as, I was a volunteer in the media committee with the Ministry
of Youth and Sports in Egypt in organising the 27th men’s Handball
World Cup in January 2021, which was a massive international event especially
during the pandemic. And I was a sports announcer in Hockey African Cup of
Nations in 2017. Also, I worked as Customer Support Professional as a part time
in Starbucks in Japan during my study, beside contributing to the English Chat
club as a student activity to improve Japanese Students in English. As well, I
was a Parachuting assistant Couch for women in Gezira Youth Centre in Egypt.
Furthermore, I am currently a freelance Japanese/English/Arabic translator.

Withal, I have learnt and still learning a lot of
skills but most of it In University I have learnt how to be detail Oriented,
Punctual, well Organised, and of course Presentation skills beside learning the
Japanese Language. In volunteering and other activities taught me how to solve
problems, creativity, and communication skills. To improve myself more as I am
a self-motivated person, I am learning how to analyse data by Udacity
scholarship.
