Bio
Translation is my passion.
I got a BA in English Language and Literature at Cairo University, from which I have also obtained my diploma in translation, graded "Very Good."
In 2007, l started as an Arabic-English freelance translator. I joined an Egyptian non-governmental organization named the Center for Arab-West Understanding (CAWU). CAWU is dedicated to promoting intercultural dialogue and bridging the gap between communities in the Arab World and between the Arab World and the West. My task was to translate theme-related articles from Egyptian newspapers and magazines to be stored in its e-library.
Then l took a break to take care of my twins. During this time, I was lucky enough to translate Andrea Levy's awarded novel, "Small Island." The General Egyptian Book Organization has published its translation in the Prize Series, and the novel participated in the Cairo International Book Fair twice.
I enjoy creative and marketing translation. I can help you in your upcoming English to Arabic translation needs, include website localization with any related legal documents (such as terms & conditions, about us and privacy & cookies policy…etc.), translating any marketing collaterals, product description for products, and services in the fashion and beauty industry.
