Bio

I AM A FREELANCE TRANSLATOR

email: [email protected]

LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/ilenia-spitale29663ab1/

Freelance translator specialized in technical-scientific and legal translations. Knowledge of CAT tools (SDL TRADOS). Meticulous, very careful in terminology research and QA. I always comply with deadlines, I am determined, ambitious, and realiable.

I participated in the Treno della Memoria in January 2011: a guided journey through death camps (Auschwitz and Birkenau) aimed at making people aware of what happened there, and of the importance of equality. I spent another whole year abroad, studying  at the Universidad Pablo de Olavide the first year of the postgraduate degree in Translation for the double-degree
Turin-Sevilla in translation and interpreting.

I have a very strong desire for traveling both for work and for pleasure. Apart from translation,
I have always dreamt of becoming an interpreter. That is why I am willing to do a Master or a Training course to become a consecutive and simultaneous interpreter.

I am completely in love with languages. I am interested in learning Portuguese and honing my basic skills in Russian and French to work with these languages as well.
