I am a native British translator working with the German and Italian languages, based in Munich, Germany since 2017. I have also spent time studying in Perugia, Italy and Lund, Sweden.

I have been translating freelance for around two years alongside other positions and am now expanding my business to make translation my main focus. I have experience as a translation project manager, during which time I also assisted with translation and proofreading tasks in fields such as financial, medical, legal, and social research.

I graduated with a BA in German & Italian Language and culture from the University of Manchester, and also completed an MSc in Management in Lund, Sweden.

Marketing/PR: Press releases for a major European orchestra, boutique fashion designers, luxury yachting companies and content for a wide variety of other products including apps, audio technology, fitness brands and more.
Contracts: particularly employment contracts, rental agreements, data protection and intellectual property agreements.
Web content: full web content for a major German meat products producer, a sailboat tourism company and a tax advisory service among others.

My IT skills are above average - I am comfortable with formats other than MS Office, such as InDesign & Publisher, localisation formats such as JSON, and HTML & XML formatted documents, among others.

My personal interests include travel, having spent three months in southeast Asia in 2018, sport and fitness including dance, photography and film. I also enjoy picking up other languages wherever possible!
