Source text - English The Wikipedia Foundation is dedicated to encouraging the growth, development and distribution of free multilingual content, and to hosting the full content of these wiki-based Projects for the public free of charge. Our role is to host some of the largest collaboratively edited reference Projects in the world, which can be found here. However, we act only as a hosting service, maintaining the infrastructure and organizational framework that allows our users to build the Wikipedia Projects by contributing and editing content themselves. Because of our unique role, there are a couple of things you should be aware of when considering our relationship to you, the Projects, and the other users:
a. We do not take an editorial role: Because the Wikipedia Projects are collaboratively edited, all of the content that we host is provided by users like yourself, and we do not take an editorial role. This means that we generally do not monitor or edit the content of the Project websites, and we do not take any responsibility for this content. Similarly, we do not endorse any opinions expressed via our services, and we do not represent or guarantee the truthfulness, accuracy, or reliability of any submitted community content. Instead, we simply provide access to the content that your fellow users have contributed and edited.
b. You are responsible for your own actions: You are legally responsible for your edits and contributions on Wikipedia Projects, so for your own protection you should exercise caution and avoid contributing any content that may result in criminal or civil liability under any applicable laws. For clarity, applicable law includes at least the laws of the United States of America. Although we may not agree with such actions, we warn editors and contributors that authorities may seek to apply other country laws to you, including local laws where you live or where you view or edit content. WMF generally cannot offer any protection, guarantee, immunity or indemnification.
Translation - Hindi विकिपीडिया संगठनकी बुनियाद उस अभीष्ट लक्ष्य के प्रति समर्पित है जिससे वृद्धि, विकास और मुफ्त बहुभाषीय विषय वस्तु का वितरण हो सके और इन विकिपीडिया के विषयवस्तुओं को आम जनता तक पंहुचा जा सके. हमारी भूमिका उनमे से विश्व कि अधिकतम सहयोगी वक्तव्य प्रकल्प को पेश करना है जो इस संगठन में मौजूद है. परन्तु हमारी भूमिका इस सांगठनिक ढाँचे को मद्दे नज़र रखते हुए सिर्फ हमारे उपभोगताओं को अनुमति देने का है जो उनको यह अनुमति देता है की वो अपने योगदान और संपादन से उस विकिपीडिया के मूल विषय वस्तू का निर्माण कर सकें. हमारी इस बेजोड़ भूमिका के लिए दो बातें आपको हमारे सम्बन्ध में, उन प्रकल्पों के बारे में और दुसरे उपभोगताओं के बारे में ध्यान में रखने की आवश्यकता है.
क) हमारी भूमिका एक सम्पादक की नहीं है: क्यूंकि विकिपीडिया प्रकल्पों के सारे मूल विषय वस्तुएं आपके जैसे बाकि सबके योगदान से संपादित हैं, हम सम्पादक नहीं बन सकते. इसका मतलब ये है के हम साधारनत इन प्रकल्पों के वेबसाइट में निश्चित समयावधि नियमित रूप से जांच पड़ताल या मूल विषय वस्तु का संपादन नहीं करतें और नाही उनमें दि गई विषय वस्तुओं का उत्तरदायित्व लेते हैं. उसी प्रकार हमारी सेवाओं द्वारा व्यक्त किसी भी राए का समर्थन हम नहीं करतें और नाही हम किसी समुदाए द्वारा जमा किये गए दतावेज़ की सच्चाई, विस्वस्नियेत्ता, वास्तविक्ता का चित्रण या आश्वासन देतें हैं. बल्कि हम पूरी तरह से केवल उन विषय वस्तुओं को उपलब्ध कराते हैं जो सहभागी उपभोगताओं के योगदान और संपादन से बना है.
ख) आपके कर्मों का उत्तरदायित्व: विकिपीडिया प्रकल्पों में आपके दिए हुए विचारों के लिए आप कानूनन ज़िम्मेदार हैं, इसीलिए खुदकी सुरक्षा हेतु आप सावधानी बरतें और किसी भी प्रकार के विषय वस्तुओं का उपयोग ना करें जोकि अनैतिक, अपराधिक या नागरिकों से सम्बंधित हो, जिसके परिणाम स्वरुप आप कानून के अंतर्गत आ जाएँ. स्पष्टता हेतु सम्बंधित कानून में शामिल न्यूनतम कानून्तंत्र अमेरिका का लिया जा सकता है. हालांकि इन गतिविधियों से हम सहमत नहीं हैं पर संपादकों और अंश्कारियों को सचेत करते हैं की अधिकारी वर्ग दूसरी देश के कानून या आपके स्थानीय कानून जहाँ आप रहते हैं या उस विषय वस्तु पर गौर करतें हैं या उसकी सम्पादना करतें हैं उस जगह के कानूनों को लागू करतें हैं. WMF सामान्यता किसी प्रकार की सुरक्षा, आश्वासन, बचाव या क्षतिपूरण का प्रस्ताव नहीं देता.
