Bio

Spanish/Catalan bilingual from birth, working in Barcelona as a freelance translator and proofreader (English/Dutch into Spanish/Catalan) mainly focused on my areas of expertise: marketing, psychology, social sciences, consultancy, business and retail.

I graduated with a BSc in Psychology from the University of Barcelona, and I hold a Master of Science degree (with distinction) in Biological Anthropology from University College London (UCL). I successfully completed a course in Technical Translation at International House, Barcelona (2017).

My prior professional experience includes 7 years in the field of social and educational assistance, and over 10 years in the field of market research and consultancy, most of which in executive positions. During this time I worked for a wide range of companies from all over the world, wrote several articles in specialised magazines (both national and international), and gave talks at seminars.

Member of APTIC, the Professional Association of Translators and Interpreters of Catalonia.

I work narrowly together with a Dutch translator (Hans Geluk) and together we can guarantee a complete service offering between the languages Dutch and Spanish/Catalan, providing quality translations that are always translated and reviewed by two native speakers. This additional review is always included in our competitive rates.
