Alireza Akbari is a graduted student of translation studies at the University of Isfahan And PhD researcher at KU Leuven, Belgium. He is the founder of Intermediacy Model of Translation in Gray Zone and HomoKult model of cultural translation. He has published several papers on translation studies and Applied Linguistics. His main interests lie in the areas of theories of translation, cognitive linguistics, philosophy of translation, cultural translation, bi-directional, liaison interpretation, corresponding translation, technical translation, and equivalence paradigm in translation.
