Experience
Years of experience: 23. Registered at ProZ.com: Oct 2014.
Hi! My name is Georgina and I have been a translator for around 14 years now.
Most of my translating experience has come from working as a court;legal translator here in Central Portugal.
I have had the pleasure of working in my local community with local lawyers and expats for many years but am now looking to broaden my freelance career and not be just restricted to my local area.
I have joined Proz.com to start the ball rolling so to speak and my own website as well.
I moved to Portugal when I was a teenager so I have been living here and speaking Portuguese on a daily basis for almost 20 years.
The last few months my freelance career has given me the opportunity to translate a wide range of web sites on varying topics such as dentistry, cosmetics, tourism and the Brewery Industry to mention but a few.
I have also had the pleasure of doing some Portuguese(BR)<>English translations for some Brazilian colleagues.
I love my job and am looking forward to work through this site
