I became a Sworn Translator in 2014 and have been working full time as a translator since 2013.

I specialize in translating technical and legal documents with tight
deadlines. While I do sometimes take on projects that do not have a rush
deadline, I can be of most help to clients who need their documents translated asap so this is what I focus on doing. I have translated documents relating to railroads, nuclear power plants, a constantly increasing variety of contracts and legal instruments, and many, many Material Safety Data Sheets and user manuals.

What to expect when working with me?

Communication is key. Even after almost a decade in this business, I still value communication more than any other aspect in my relationship with clients. Discussing issues openly prevents most problems down the road, and gives everyone the assurance that whatever happens, together we can find a solution.

I like to work in a positive environment. Even on rough days, I try to greet everyone with a smile. I understand that paperwork can cause a lot of stress, but offering express translation services is my choice, and I am there to share that burden and make it easier for my clients. I know that anything can happen and deadlines to submit documents to various bodies can change. In such situations I welcome open communication and I do my best to accommodate the client's needs, but I do not tolerate being pressured into changing deadlines without my consent and without appropriate compensation.

Challenging projects are welcome! I can translate a large volume of text quite fast, and I have the discipline to calculate the required amount of time for each project and meet the agreed deadlines.

I'm always looking for ways to make my work more efficient and to keep my data more secure. If you have any kind of security measures you would like me to enforce for your data, feel free to reach out to me. I'm not an expert, but I know enough to have built and configured my own NAS, so chances are, even if I haven't come across your particular algorithm, I will take the time to make sure I understand and use it.

I value my time and have no interest in chasing payments, therefore I only work with advance payment and based on a signed contract. I offer clauses regarding refunds in case of missed deadlines (though nobody who has worked with me so far has had reason to resort to them).
