Bio
One of the most difficult thing for me is to write about myself. I'll try and I hope the information what I am going to provide here will not be found too boring.
Well, I was born long time ago, in USSR, one of the biggest monsters of last century. When I was a child my native language was Russian and when Ukraine proclaimed its independence my native language became Ukrainian. It sounds weird, however, Russian and Ukrainian are both my native languages.
Soon I started to learn English and Spanish. Despite on romantic part of Spanish, English was always my big love and as I followed my heart I entered to special school where I studied English for 6 years. After graduation of the school I became a student of Kiev Polytechnic University where I studied chemistry. Why i chose chemistry over English? Well, I always wanted to be a good translator who knows science. At the same time I worked as an English tutor, translator and interpreter. mostly I translated contracts, agreements, articles. I also worked for marriage agencies where interpreted potential couples.
Once I interpreted for one tourist from the USA who visited Kiev and was in need of guide. Next year me and Mr. Horback got married. I moved to the USA where I had to start over.
I entered to Georgia Perimeter College and became a student of pre-Nursing. In college I studied Human anatomy, maths, chemistry, English, etc. All of these classes improved my knowledge in science as well as improved my English.
Right now I am taking a brake from school as I am a mommy; my daughter just started the 2nd grade and my son is going to be 3 this November.
I would gladly join to translation team and I promise do my best.
Keywords: Russian (naive speaker), chemistry, biology, medicine, engineering, Ukrainian.
