Bio
To whom it may concern,

My name is Philip Andersson. I am 25 years old and I am currently living in Kobe, Japan.

At 6 months old, my parents and I moved from Sweden to England and just before my third birthday we moved to Hong Kong where I grew up. In Hong Kong I attended a British curriculum primary school and secondary school, which I graduated in 2007. After graduation I moved back to England to study Media at the University of London (Royal Holloway). I graduated with 2.1 honors in 2010.

During the last year of my studies in London I had begun to study Japanese. My main reason for taking up Japanese was because I thought it would broaden my work prospects in the future. My studies in Japanese eventually brought me to Kobe, Japan, where I spent a year at the Kobe Toyo Japanese College. During my time at the college I attained a Japanese Language Proficiency N2 degree within a year, which is the fastest of any student that has ever attended the college. In October 2011 I graduated Kobe Toyo Japanese College and found work at a company called ISFnet, which deals with network engineering. I was initially hired as a network engineer but spent the majority of my time translating instruction manuals etc.

In April 2012 I set up my own company in Japan and currently work as a freelance translator and sales representative for language training programs.
