I was born in Greece. That’s where I grew up, studied, worked, and served in the military until I was 27 years old

I am currently living in the UK for the past 5 years, married to a Canadian. English is my every day language and to be honest I am glad I am doing translations or else I will end up forgetting it. :-)

I studied and worked as an apprentice officer in the Shipping industry for 3 years. An accident stopped me from continuing any further.

I have studied Tourism for two years where I got certified as a travel agent. Although I never worked in an agency, I acquired useful but also beautiful experiences working in the general tourism industry.

I have worked for more than five years as a volunteer translator and interpreter for non-profit organizations.

Through translations I am able to become the mediator for different cultures to connect. It is a field that requires an eye for details and an ability to be able to penetrate in the way the writer thinks and convey his/her work not just in another language but also make it accessible in another culture . I love this challenge!
