Honours Degree in Film History and Film Theory at the History of Art Department of the University of Pisa. Graduation thesis on the influence of censorship and of Francoist ideology on the films of Carlos Saura.
Participation in several meetings and seminars on film theory, fine arts, semiotics and computer graphics in Italy and Spain.

Main experiences abroad
Study grant at the Universidad del Pais Vasco in Bilbao (courses in Spanish, Audiovisual Communication, Film History, Art History, Semiotics of Advertising, and Film Production.

- Casabella (Architecture Magazine, translation of several articles on Spanish, Latin American and French architects)
- Electa Mondadori, Pizzi, Silvana Editoriale, Skira, Charta, and Leonardo International (art books publishers)
- Grundy, Cattleya and Colorado Film (Movie and TV Producers), etc.
1997-1998: Freelance translation from Spanish and French into Italian (interviews, critical essays, film history texts, movie scripts, architectural and theatre texts, art’s catalogues and dictionaries, tourist guides); picture research for two books on the history of the Italian economy. Occasional courses in film history and technique.
