I come from Germany and have studied there sinology, german language and literature and religious studies. Most of the literature for sinology and religious science is written in english, so I am able to read english fluent, especially scientific texts, although my spoken and written english is not perfect. I have not yet worked as a translator for profit, but since 2004 I am working for the german wikipedia and for this purpose I translated many scholar texts about sinology and indology from english to german. My written german is on a scholar level and I am experienced in writing professional german texts. Sometimes I'm writing for a german texter agency. I wrote there many texts about tourism and travelling, but also other texts about cultural themes.

I have studied chinese language for a long time, and have much experience in translating chinese, because during my study I had to translate texts from chinese to german the whole time.
