My name is Panagiota Liakou, but people call me Penny.
I graduated from the Ionian University in Corfu and I am now holding a degree in Translation.
he languages I work in are English, French and Greek.
As far as fields of expertise are concerned, I have experience in translating mainly medical/pharmaceutical and marketing and IT/telecommunication texts, as well as a limited experience in law texts. Furthermore, I have quite an extensive knowledge on the use of CAT tools, such as Trados Studio, Wordfast and others. During my working as a translator, I have also been reviewing linguistically a vast amount of texts, coming from many subject areas. Additionally, I am currently working on Medical Literature Research, providing extensive commercial info concerning the Greek medical market to well-known pharmaceutical companies.
