Cerca de Salvador se encuentra el destino más importante de trekking de Brasil, la Chapada Diamantina. En esta meseta espectacular nacen una gran cantidad de ríos que durante años han ido formando hermosos arroyuelos, burbujeantes cataratas y piscinas naturales de agua transparente. Atractivos naturales como la Cachoeira da Fumaça y sus 380 metros de caída libre o el deslumbrante Poço Encantado seguro nos causarán admiración y ayudarán a convertir nuestro trekking en una sorpresa constante de maravillosa naturaleza.
DIA 1 – Origen – Salvador – Lençóis
Llegada al aeropuerto de Salvador, y transfer terrestre hasta la estación de autobuses de Salvador, donde haremos un transfer en autobús regular hasta la población de Lençóis. Esta bonita población era conocida como la Capital do Diamante, y fue declarada Patrimonio Histórico Nacional en 1973. Paseando por sus calles podremos ver los caseríos coloniales de finales del siglo XIX bien conservados. Con el final de la mineralización y la creación del Parque Nacional de la Chapada Diamantina, el turismo se volvió una fuente de desarrollo para esta región. Alojamiento.
DIA 2 – Lençóis – Capão (D,A)
Por la mañana y después de desayunar haremos una visita a la población y luego visitaremos el Projeto Grão de Luz e Griô, cuya misión es sembrar la educación y la tradición oral para fortalecer la identidad de los niños, los adolescentes y los jóvenes brasileros. Después de almorzar nos transportarán hasta el punto de partida de la caminata que nos llevará, en unos 30 minutos, hasta una de las principales postales de la Chapada: O Morro do Pai Inácio. Después iremos hasta Capão para pernoctar.
DIA 3 – Capão – Vale do Paty (D,A,C)
Saldremos por la mañana en traslado terrestre hasta Guiné, donde iniciaremos el trekking por el Vale do Paty. En este primer día de trekking visitaremos la pequeña población de Guiné y podremos tomar un baño en la Cachoeira dos Funis. Durante esta día habremos caminado unos 14 kms, y podremos disfrutar de una merecida cena y un deseado descanso en casa de unos nativos, donde nos alojaremos
DIA 4 – Vale do Paty (D,A,C)
Durante esta segunda jornada de trekking caminaremos hacia el Morro de Castelo. Durante el camino tendremos la oportunidad de tomar un baño en el río. Después de caminar unos 12 Kms llegaremos a casa de unos nativos, donde cenaremos y pernoctaremos.
DIA 5 – Vale do Paty – Lençóis (D,A)
Después de desayunar empezaremos a andar por un sendero arduo de la Serra do Esbarrancado. Una vez llegados a la cima caminaremos en dirección al Rio Preto, situado en la cima del Gerais do Vieira. Nos bañaremos en las piscinas naturales de esta región y luego seguiremos andando hasta el inicio del Vale do Capão, donde nos estará esperando un vehículo para llevarnos de vuelta a Lençois. Durante esta jornada habremos caminado unos 22 Kms. Alojamiento en Lençois.
DIA 6 – Lençóis – Destino (D)
Saldremos de mañana en traslado terrestre regular hasta la estación de autobuses de Salvador, y desde ahí, en transfer privado hasta el aeropuerto de Salvador para embarcar hacia el próximo destino.

Near Salvador we find the most important trekking spot in Brazil, the Chapada Diamantina. A large quantity of rivers spring from this spectacular region and over years they have formed beautiful streams, bubbling waterfalls, and clear natural pools. Some natural attractions include the Cachoeira da Fumaça with its 380 meters of free fall or the dazzling Poço Encantado. Throughout the trek the marvelous natural landscape will continue to surprise and amaze the visitor.
DAY 1- Origin-Salvador-Lençóis
Arrival to the airport of Salvador and transport to the bus station of Salvador where we leave for Lençóis. This pretty town was known as the Diamond Capital, and was declared a World Heritage Site in 1973. Strolling through the streets, we will see well conserved colonial houses from the late XIX century. With the end of mining and the creation of the National Park of Chapada Diamantina, tourism has become an important source of development for the region. Accommodation.
DAY 2-Lençóis – Capão (D,A)
After breakfast we take a tour of the town and also to the Projeto Grão de Luz e Griô whose mission is to spread education and oral tradition in an attempt to strengthen the cultural identity of Brazilian youth. After lunch we travel 30 minutes to the main outpost of the Chapada: O Morro do Pai Inácio. Afterwards, we go to Capão where we stop for the night.
DAY 3-Capão – Vale do Paty (D,A,C)
In the morning we travel over land to Guiné, where we begin trekking at the Vale do Paty. On this first day of the trek we visit the small town of Guiné and can take a swim in the Cachoeira dos Funis. After traveling the 14 km trek on foot, we stop for a well deserved dinner in a local home where we will stay the night.
DAY 4- Vale do Paty (D,A,C)
On this part of the trek, we walk to Morro de Castelo, stopping along the way to bathe in the river. After a 12km hike, we arrive to a local home where we have dinner and stay the night.
DAY 5- Vale do Paty – Lençóis (D,A)
After breakfast we walk up an arduous path to the Serra do Esbarrancado. We enjoy the splendid view from this peak, and then continue towards the Rio Preto, located on the dome of Gerais do Vieira. We can take time to swim in the natural pools and then continue walking to the start of the Vale do Capão, where a vehicle will be waiting to take us back to Lençois. Throughout this journey we will have walked 22km. Accommodation in Lençois.
DAY 6- Lençóis – Destination (D)
In the morning we travel over land to the bus station of Salvador, and from there we go by private transport to the airport of Salvador where we leave for our next destination.
