English to Czech: The Gypsies/Cikáni General field: Art/Literary
Source text - English Before the Rom began to disperse, there were more extravagant celebrations of friendship. They lingered on endlessly reciprocating each other's lavish hospitality. Then one day the extraordinary concentration of Gypsies suddenly dissolved, as unpredictable as the wind itself. One instant the sprawling camp reminded one of a series of ancient Persian miniatures—in scarlets, magentas, crimsons, lemon-yellows and saffron and sulphur, in cobalt blues and cerulean, with ochres and sepias and gold. The next moment it resembled more a minor seismic disturbance. Wagons jerked into motion, hobbled over the rough ground and departed in opposite directions.
Translation - Czech Než se Romové začali rozcházet, proběhly ještě nevázanější oslavy přátelství. Vytrvale si vzájemně opětovali štědrou pohostinnost. Potom se ta mimořádná koncentrace Cikánů jednoho dne náhle rozpustila, stejně nepředvídatelně jako se mění vítr.
V jednu chvíli připomínalo rozprostřené tábořiště sérii perských miniatur – v šarlatové, magentové, karmínové, citrónově žluté, šafránové a žluté jako síra, v kobaltových modřích a blankytně modré, okrové, sépiově hnědé a zlaté. V příští chvíli spíš připomínalo menší seizmický otřes. Vozy sebou cukly a pohnuly se, šouraly se po nerovné zemi a odjížděly opačným směrem.
