لم يَعُدْ التعتيم أو التجاهل أو التهوين مُمكناً. وأثبت المُدوّنون الالكترونيون (بلوغرز) أنهم صاروا جزءاً أساسياً من المشهد المصري راهناً، بحيث لا يستطيع أحدٌ أن يتجاهلهم. والمؤلم أن هذه الحقيقة رسمت نفسها في سياق حدث مأسوي تمثّل في كارثة «حي الدويقة» الذي دُفن الكثير من أحيائه تحت الصخور الضخمة التي تساقطت عليهم من جبل المُقطّم. ومُجدداً، اندفع ناشطو الإنترنت في بلاد النيل، الذين ظنّ بعضهم إنهم تقاعسوا أو خافوا بأثر من «قرصة الأذن» التي وجّهتها السلطة إليهم بعد إضراب نيسان (أبريل) الماضي الذي نجحوا في تعميمه باستخدام صفحاتهم الرقمية في موقع «فيس بوك» Face Book. ومن المعلوم مثلاً أن إسراء عبد العال، التي حازت لقبي «فتاة الفيس بوك» و «زعيمة الإضراب الالكتروني»، قد أعلنت توبتها عبر أقنية التلفزة الفضائية، بعد القبض عليها. وبعدها، اختفت من الساحة الإلكترونية. وتَنَحّت عن عرشها الافتراضي.
ومع إنهيار الصخور المميتة في حي «منشية ناصر»، اندفع المئات من «البلوغرز» ليحلّوا محل عبدالعال. وساروا سريعاً ليحوزوا عروش الحقيقة الإلكترونية.
«الدويقة» تُطلق حراكاً شبكياً
مع سقوط الصخور على بشر «الدويقة»، عَمّت حال من الحِراك الإلكتروني فضاء الإنترنت، وكأنه جيش استنفرته كارثة انهيار الكتل الصخرية على مئات البيوت و»العِشَش» في «الدويقة» في قلب القاهرة. والمعلوم ان ذلك الحي يندرج ضمن ما يُشار إليه باسم «الأحياء العشوائية»، بل أنه من أفقرها وأشدّها ازدحاماً وأكثرها احتواء على مشكلات ملغومة تتراكم بأثر من الفقر وظروف العيش غير الإنساني المعيشية. وقد تكاثرت «بيوته» على صخور طفيلية مختلطة مع أقنية غير مُخطّطة لمياه الصرف الصحي. وبعد الكارثة، راجت في القاهرة أقاويل ربطت بين سقوط الصخور وتسرّب مياه الري الناجمة عن مشاريع سكنية فارهة تشيدها شركات استثمارية كبرى.
وترافقت «تلك الكارثة الإنسانية التي أصابت سكان الدويقة» بحسب تعبير شائع في الإعلام الرسمي، مع نهج رسمي بات متوقعاً في تغطية المأساة. وتبدى هذا النهج في سلسلة امتدّت من تأكيد رئيس الوزراء أحمد نظيف «عمل الحكومة بسرعة على تسكين المُتضررين من الحادث»، إلى تأكيد وزير التضامن «تقديم المساعدات الفورية اللازمة»، إلى وعد وزير التربية والتعليم بـ «تقديم كل العون لتلاميذ الدويقة» إلى آخر القائمة. وزاد الطين بلّة صدور الصحف الرسمية مُزيّنة صفحاتها الأولى بعناوين على شاكلة «أهالي «الدويقة» يستقبلون الشُقق بالفرح والزغاريد» و «بعد توجيهات الرئيس مبارك: حلم الشُقق يتحقق لأهالي الدويقة»! ثم جاء تصريح محافظ القاهرة عبدالعظيم وزير بـ «أن القدر سبقنا (المحافظة) بخطوة»، في إشارة إلى أن الوزارة كانت على وشك تسليم الشُقق لأبناء الدويقة في تاريخ «تصادف» أنه يبعد أسبوعاً عن الكارثة! واستعرض خلافات تاريحية بين المحافظة ووزارة الإسكان خلال العقد المنصرم.
بديهي أن نهج الإعلام الرسمي في التعامل مع «الكارثة الإنسانية» لم يعجب الكثيرين، خصوصاً أولئك الباحثين عن الحقائق، بعيداً من السياسة.
ونجم عن ذلك أن استعرت تغطيات «البلوغرز» على الشبكة العنكبوتية، لتُقدم ما يُشبه «الصورة البديلة» عما يحدث داخل المنطقة المنكوبة. والمعلوم أن «الدويقة» تحوّلت خلال أيام قليلة بعد كارثتها، إلى ما يشبه الثكنة العسكرية، خصوصاً مع الحرص على تأمين سلامة الشخصيات الكبيرة التي تتوافد على المنطقة لتتفقد آثار «الحادث الإنساني»، وكذلك ردّ فعل السكان الذي تراوح بين رشق بالحجارة والضرب على أواني الطبخ. وبذا، انشغلت جهات أمنية بمهمة التدقيق في هوية الداخلين الى المنطقة.
حرص الاعلام الرسمي على بثّ صور جهود رجال الاسعاف المدني لإخراج الضحايا من تحت الأنقاض، وزيارات كبار رجال الدولة لوضع خطط تقديم المساعدات، ومُعدّات رفع الأنقاض.
وفي المقابل، أظهرت المُدوّنات صور حقيقة ما يجري في المنطقة التي أُضيفت الصخور إلى إبتلائها بالفقر والظروف المعيشية القاسية.
وإذ أذيعت تقارير فضائية «الجزيرة» من داخل أنقاض «الدويقة» بضع مرات على شاشة تلك القناة التي لا يتابعها الجميع، سجلها بعض نشطاء «البلوغرز» وحمّلوها في ملفات على موقع «يو تيوب» YouTube.
وبذلك، أضحت متاحة لجمهور واسع، من ضمنه أولئك الذين ضاقوا ذرعاً بمشاهدة زيارات المسؤولين وزغاريد السكان الذين حصلوا على شقق!
وفي حسّ الملسوع من قسوة الرياء، عمد بعض «البلوغرز» إلى تصدير الصفحات الإلكترونية بكلمات زعيم الغالبية في مجلس الشعب (البرلمان) المصري الدكتور محمد رجب لمراسل «الجزيرة» من «الدويقة» بأن «أرواح الناس لا يمكن أن تذهب هباء أبداً» وتعليق المراسل عليها بالقول: «هذا ما ستكشف عنه الأيام المقبلة».
وكتب أحد المدونين هذه الكلمات في المعنى نفسه «اخرج بره الحدود، وإياك تعود، تعود لمين ولإيه وفين، مش محتاجاك، ولا الأماكن, ولا البيوت. ما لكش فيها مكان. يا قطر تدهسك عجلاته، يا في عبارة، وبحر تاكلك سمكاته، يا صخرة من فوق جبل، تقع عليك تدهسك، وانت نايم ناوي تصوم، وليه من النوم تقوم؟ حقك؟ عمره ما كان حقك، ولا في يوم حيكون».
تعاطف شبكي لبناني
وكتب مُدوّن إلكتروني لبناني على مدونته «كاسك يا وطن» k-ya-watan.blogspot «إنّ الذين ينامون الآن بهدوء تحت صخور جبل المقطّم هم شهداء قتلوا غدراً وغيلةً... لم تترك لهم فرصة لمواجهة قاتلهم... ولم يدركوا أن عليهم الاستعداد لحرب قادمة قد يقتلون فيها... هؤلاء كانوا مؤمنين بأنّ العدو وراء الحدود... وأن أمامه مصريين كثراً يمنعونه من الوصول إلى المقطم... هؤلاء لم يروا في الصخر عدوّاً في يوم من الأيام. بل ربما عقدوا صداقات صامتة مع تلك الصخور التي شهدت ذكرياتهم... وربما كانوا يجلسون فوقها ويحلمون بالهرب من وجه كل هذا القهر... والاختفاء بهدوء كما اختفى طانيوس في مسرحية «صخرة طانيوس».
وكعادة الفضاء الإلكتروني في التقاط الرأي البديل، ساهمت آلاف الأيدي في نقل لقطات حيّة وشهادات واقعية من الحيّ المنكوب سجّلت بواسطة الخليوي والكاميرات الرقمية. ووجدت الكثير من تلك الأشرطة الرقمية غير الرسمية طريقها الى موقع «يو تيوب».
في سعي مماثل، لجأ مستخدمو الإنترنت إلى المشاركة بنشر تعليقات أهالي «الدويقة»، ما أبرز نبرة الغضب والاحتجاج والاعتصام من قِبَل المنكوبين. ومع وضع تلك الشكاوى مقابل ردود الفعل الرسمية، تبدى أن الغالبية العظمى من الأصوات حملت الغضب والغيظ من المصائب المتلاحقة التي تصيب المصريين (لا سيما الفقراء) بسبب الإهمال أو الفساد أو كليهما. كما أبرزت الإنترنت تبرّم المنكوبين من كثير من التصريحات الرسمية، لا سيما تلك التي تبادل فيها المسؤولون إلقاء اللوم بعضهم على بعض. وكالعادة حظي التعامل الأمني مع مجريات الكارثة بالكم الأكبر من التعليقات الساخطة.
رياح معلومات الانترنت
توّلت مجموعة من الجمعيات الحقوقية نشاطاً عنكبوتياً من نوع آخر، إذ نشرت على صفحاتها الإلكترونية البيانات الصحافية الشاجبة للإهمال والتراخي في تسليم الشقق البديلة سواء قبل وقوع الكارثة أو بعدها. وصوّر «مركز هشام مبارك للقانون» فيلم فيديو من «الدويقة» ثمّ حمّله على الموقع الشبكي للمركز.
وخصّصت مُدوّنة مالك مصطفى «مالك-إكس.نت» malek-x.net المعروفة بعلو صوتها في انتقاد النظام، مجموعة من الصفحات الالكترونية لمتابعة مجريات الكارثة.
ووجّهت نداء للتضامن مع إعتصام أهالي «الدويقة» أمام مبنى محافظة القاهرة إحتجاجاً على عدم تسلمهم الشُقّق البديلة التي وعدتهم بها المحافظة عقب الكارثة. وعنيت بإظهار معاناة أسرة قالت إنها طُردت بعد تسلمها شقة بدعوى «عدم الاستحقاق»! وأحدث ما كتبته في شأن الكارثة حديث عن «إصابة أكثر من مئة طفل من الدويقة بأعراض «غريبة» تراوحت بين الإسهال والطفح الجلدي... وقيل لهم في المستشفى إنه نوع من الأوبئة».
وإذا كانت الشهادات العنكبوتية تحتمل الصواب والخطأ، فإن ناشطين آخرين مالوا إلى إبراز الأعمال الخيّرة. فبعد ساعات من وقوع كارثة الانهيار، نشأت مجموعات لجمع التبرعات وتقديم شتى أنواع الدعم من ملابس وغذاء ومال إلى المنكوبين.
وفي نشاط متصل، ظهر على موقع «فيس بوك»، ما يزيد على 52 حساباً عن الكارثة، أغلبها لمجموعات تطالب بإقالة محافظ القاهرة، أو بإقالة الحكومة برمّتها. وهناك من أسس مجموعة للعمل على المطالبة بوضع حل نهائي لقنبلة الأحياء الموقوتة. وشكّل آخرون «لجنة دعم ضحايا الدويقة».
الأرجح أن قلّة من أهل «الدويقة» تطلع على الإنترنت، ما يعني أن الجدل الدائر حول كارثتهم يدور في أروقة بعيدة منهم جغرافياً وتقنياً. ولا يمنع ذلك أن الحِراك الرقمي نجح في فتح أقنية بديلة للحوار وآفاق غير تقليدية للتفكير في ما قد يكون دائراً في قلب القاهرة، بعيداً من نشرات الأخبار الرسمية على الأقنية الأرضية.
من جهة أخرى، أعاد الحِراك العنكبوتي حول كارثة الدويقة «غير الإنسانية» مُجدّداً إثبات نظرية استحالة الوقوف في وجه رياح حرية المعلومات الإلكترونية، حتى لو جانبها الصواب أو عابها التحيز أو التطرف. واللافت أن رئيس الوزراء المصري أحمد نظيف أذهل المدونين قبل فترة قصيرة بكتابته تعليقاً في مُدوّنة مُعارضة «لينين 1917. بلوغ سبوت. كوم» lenin1917.blogspot.com رداً على انتقادات لسياسة حكومته الاقتصادية وتوجهاتها في التعليم. وذكّرت تلك المبادرة بما فعله قبل عامين الأمين العام للجنة السياسات في الحزب الوطني الديموقراطي الحاكم جمال مبارك، الذي خاض حواراً مع «المواطنين» عبر موقع الحزب على الإنترنت.
وتشتهر الإنترنت بميلها للتعارض مع ما يجري في الواقع «الفعلي». وبذا، جاء نشاط مجموعات شبابية عملت على نشر إعلانات ضخمة في الشوارع تقول: «الشباب الجَد بيبني مش بيهِد»، رداً على الشبيبة الذين قادوا إضرابي نيسان (أبريل) وأيار (مايو) المنصرمين.
من يدري؟ فلربما ظهر قريباً مسؤولون ونواب على هيئة مجموعات على الـ «فيس بوك» أو «بلوغرز» ليدافعوا عما فعلته الحكومة تجاه كارثة «الدويقة».
Translation - English Bloggers open an alternative digital gap in the Doweika rockslide catastrophe

Hiding information, ignorance or minimizing situations is no more possible. Bloggers proved to be a primary part of the Egyptian contemporary scene such that they cannot be ignored. The painful part is that this fact was drawn in context with the catastrophic “Doweika Rockslide”. Many Doweika residents were buried under the rocks. Once again Egyptian internet activists were active. Some people thought bloggers were reluctant or scared because of the ear pinch by authorities following the April strike which they succeeded in publicizing using Face Book.
It is known for example that Isra’a Abdel Aal, named the “Face Book Girl” and “Electronic Strike Leader” has announced her repentance on TV Satellite Channels following her arrest. She then disappeared from the electronic arena and left her virtual throne.
With the deadly rockslide in Mansheyet Nasr district, hundreds of bloggers jumped in to replace Abdel Aal and walked fast to seize the thrones of electronic reality.
Doweika launches a networking movement
With the rock slide on Doweika residents, a state of electronic movement dominated the internet sphere. Like an army that was called in by the catastrophic rockslide on hundreds of houses and huts downtown Cairo. It is known that this district is one of the “randomly planned areas”, in fact it is one of the poorest, most crowded and most infested with problems due to poverty and inhumane living circumstances. The houses infested on rocks along with unplanned sewage-water containers. Following the catastrophe, Cairo talk related between the rockslide and water leakage from high-line housing projects conducted by large investment companies.
This “human catastrophe that affected Doweika residents” -as the official media describes it- came along with an expected official trend in coverage. The coverage began by PM Ahmed Nazif confirmation that the government will act quick to house the devastated in the rockslide. The minister of social solidarity then confirmed offering immediate necessary help while the minister of education offered all the aid to Doweika students, to the end of the list.
With worse coming to worst official newspapers’ first pages were decorated with titles such as “Doweika residents receive apartments with happiness and joy”, and “upon directions from President Mubarak: Doweika residents’ dreams of an apartment come true”. Then comes the statement by Cairo Governor Abdel Azim Wazir that fate was one step ahead of the governorate, hinting to that the ministry was about to deliver the apartments to Doweika residents if not by coincidence, it is one week after the catastrophe. The governor then elaborated on historic conflicts between the governorate and the ministry of housing over the past year.
It is normal for the official media trend in dealing with the “human catastrophe” not to please many, especially those who searched for facts away from politics.
The result was a wild coverage by internet bloggers to present what looks like an alternative image of what happens in Doweika. It is known that Doweika was transformed into a military point, especially with the stress of insuring big figures arriving at the area to see the consequences of the “human catastrophe” and the response of residents which ranged from throwing stones to hitting on cooking pans. So were the concerned security bodies busy investigating identities of those who arrived to the scene. The official media focused on showing shots of civil ambulances’ efforts to pull out victims from under the rubble, and visits by senior states men to put plans for aid, not to mention shots of equipments used in lifting the rubble.
On the other hand bloggers showed real pictures of what is happening on the scene to which rocks added to its series of poverty and harsh living circumstances.
Some activist bloggers recorded the Al Jazeera satellite channel coverage from under the rubble and uploaded it to You Tube to be available to a wide audience including those who are sick of official’s visits and glory of residents who received apartments!
With no will to endure any more hypocrisy, some bloggers deliberately quoted the words of Mohammed Ragab, head of the parliament’s majority bloc to Al Jazeera that the rights of the people who died under the rubble will not be lost, and Al Jazeera correspondent replying that “This is what the next days will show”.
Another blogger writes these words with the same meaning “get out and never return, for whom and why and where will you return, it does not need you nor do the places nor do the houses. A train crushes you underneath, or a ferry and you be eaten by fish, or under a rock from a mountain should you be crushed, you sleep with the intention of fasting, why wake up from sleep? Is it your right? It never was, and never shall be”.
Lebanese internet sympathy
One Lebanese blogger wrote on his blog, “Kasak Ya Watan” (translation: Cheers My Nation) that “those who sleep now under the Mokattam rockslide are martyrs who were killed by treason and assassins. They were not given a chance to confront their killer. Did not understand that they had to get prepared to a war in which they may be killed, they believed that enemies lie behind borders, and that many Egyptians prevent this enemy from reaching them in Mokattam. They never saw the rock as an enemy one day. In fact they may have established silent friendships with these rocks that witnessed their memories. May be they used to stand on these rocks and dream of escaping the oppression and silently disappearing like Tonios disappeared in the play “Tonios’ Rock”.
As is the case of the electronic sphere in catching on alternative opinion, hundreds of hands contributed to transferring the live shots and field testimonials from the devastated area and that was recorded via mobiles and digital cameras. Many of these digital recordings found its’ unofficial way to You Tube.
In a similar attitude, internet users sought to participate by publishing the comments of Doweika residents, and this made clear the tone of anger, protest and strike. By putting these complaints in front of the official reaction, it is obvious that the large majority of voices carried anger and irritation due to the consequent calamities that targets Egyptians (especially the poor) because of ignorance, corruption or both. The internet also showed discontent of the devastated from the many official statements, especially the ones in which officials blamed each other. As normal, the security’s dealing with the catastrophe won the largest number of angry comments.
The winds of internet information
A number of rights organizations adopted another kind of website activity. They published press statements that shed light on ignorance and reluctance in delivering apartments whether before or after the catastrophe. Hisham Mubarak Law Center shot a video movie from Doweika and uploaded it on the center’s website. The renowned Malek Mustafa’s blog “malek-x.net” famous for criticizing the regime allocated a group of web pages to follow up on the catastrophe. It also called for solidarity with the Doweika residents in front of Cairo Governorate Building in protest to not receiving alternative apartments following the catastrophe. It was also dedicated to showing the suffering of a family that said it was kicked out of an apartment because “they did not deserve it!” The most recently written on the catastrophe was the infection of more than 100 students from Doweika with strange symptoms ranging from diarrhea to skin rash and who were told in hospital that this is a kind of disease.
And if the website testimonials can be right or wrong, other activists tended to show the good deeds. Groups were formed hours after the rockslide to collect donations and offer all kinds of support including providing clothes, food, and money to the devastated.
In a continuous effort, over 52 accounts on the calamity appeared on Facebook, the majority of which calling for the resignation of Cairo Governor or the government as a whole. Others formed groups that asked for a permanent solution to the plosion of temporary residential areas. Others formed a “committee to support Doweika residents”.
Most probably a minority of Doweika residents looked on the internet and this means that the argument on their catastrophe is technically and geographically far away from them. This did not prevent the digital movement that succeeded in opening alternative doors for dialogue and untraditional horizons for thinking about what might be going on at downtown Cairo, away from terrestrial official news bulletins.
On the other side, the websites movement on the inhumane Doweika catastrophe re-proved that it is impossible to stand against the winds of freedom of electronic information whether it is correct or defected by bias or radicalism.
Noteworthy is that Egyptian Prime Minster Ahmed Nazif astonished the bloggers a short while ago by writing a comment on the opposition blog “Lenin1917.blogspot.com” in response to criticism of his government’s economic policy and its educational directions. This initiative reminded us with that of Gamal Mubarak, the Secretary General of the ruling party’s Policies Committee, and who participated in a dialogue with citizens on the party’s website.
The internet is famous with its tendency to oppose what is really happening. Thus was the action of youth groups who published large advertisements in the streets saying “the real youth constructs and does not demolish” in response to the youth who lead the latest April and May strikes.
Who knows? Maybe officials and parliamentarians will appear soon in the form of Facebook groups or bloggers in defense of what the government did regarding Doweika.
