Description In un'ora impariamo ad affrontare la traduzione delle notizie economiche: esamineremo i concetti di macro e microeconomia alla base dell'informazione economico-finanziaria, con esempi pratici del linguaggio giornalistico (informativo ma anche metaforico e sensazionalistico) e prove di traduzione di articoli e notizie. Target audience Giovani traduttori che desiderano specializzarsi nella traduzione finanziaria
Traduttori esperti che desiderano ampliare le proprie specializzazioni Learning objectives In questo webinar imparerete con un approccio pratico e numerosi esempi:
- i principali concetti di macro e microeconomia presenti nell'informazione economico-finanziaria
- le caratteristiche del linguaggio giornalistico con gli espedienti più comuni come metafore, metonimie, sigle, ecc.
- a comprendere chi sono i clienti, gli interlocutori e i destinatari della traduzione delle notizie economiche
Prerequisites Conoscenza della lingua italiana e della lingua inglese - Macroeconomia e microeconomia: i concetti base come Pil, inflazione, tassi di interesse, costo di opportunità, concorrenza, prezzi e mercati

In 1992, she graduated and started working as in-house translator, proofreader and Translation Manager at two Milan-based companies specialising in finance, corporate law and journalism. As responsible for quality control and internal staff, she selected, coordinated and trained in-house and free-lance translators through mentoring and courses. Since 2004 she has been a free-lance translator and works directly with financial companies, asset management companies, investment funds, banks, financial communication companies, law firms and international corporations for specialised translations.
