Issues with reading/posting KudoZ discussion entries (Staff: fixed) Thread poster: philgoddard
|
In the last few months, I've very often had difficulty reading and/or making discussion entries. When I click on the button, nothing happens - and yet all the other links on the page work perfectly well. Often, if I come back later in the day, the problem goes away. If I access ProZ using my tablet, a thin grey line appears down the right-hand side of the screen when this happens. Has anyone else had this issue?
I have had this, too | Jun 20, 2013 |
Same as you described. I click the button, but nothing happens. As if the whole discussion area froze.

I thought I was being blocked or "modded", but it may just be a browser issue, as I'm pretty lax about updating.

I am very sorry to hear that you're having this issue. If you could answer a few quick questions, so that I may better diagnose this issue, I would appreciate it. What browser are you using? What operating system are you using? And when the problem occurs, does your mouse still display a loading icon?

I use Firefox and Windows XP, but I've had the same problem in Explorer and Silk. The mouse doesn't display a loading icon - the button gets bigger and then smaller again when you click it (what do you call that?)
My configuration | Jun 21, 2013 |
I use Firefox 21.0 on Windows 7. The mouse cursor does not change, no loading icon, just the usual arrow. I click on the button, I can see the button action, but no effect whatsoever. Katalin

Still a problem? | Jun 28, 2013 |
Hello all, Development staff have implemented some changes with the hopes of correcting this error. Could anyone confirm if they're still experiencing this problem? Thanks in advance. Best regards, Maria
