Hey everyone, I will not be attending the dinner after all b/c there is an 80-90% chance of rain/snow mix for Sunday evening. I wanted to let you all know, especially for those traveling from out of town. Any chance we can reschedule?!

It's winter in Philadelphia. If people rescheduled events every time it rained and snowed, nothing would get done in this part of the country for months on end. If you're not comfortable driving, the neighborhood where the restaurant is located is well served by at least five bus lines and four train lines.

I saw the weather forecast yesterday. I saw that the weather was okay for tomorrow. It will not be cancellation for now. I should let the interpreters and translators know that ones are coming from Maryland or Washington D.C. that Rutie spoke with me and she told me that she will be happy to give them a Ride.
Eihab sewidan also told me that the interpreters that are coming from Allentown area could also get a ride with him If they don't have a car.

Despite all my planning and preparations, the weather does not cooperate: with 80% ICE forecast after 6PM in the Washington area, I dont feel comfortable driving in "black Ice". I know from first hand experience just how dangerous it can be - no matter how good a driver I am.
How about another POWWOW soon - and in better season?

I would love to say that I enjoyed seeing all of you in Philly and although my winshield wipers went off in that dark rainy night and I drove long to my city, I still enjoyed it and hope to see you again and again in other occasions like this.
