How easy is it to learn?

Excellent cat tool, simple and clean interface.
Review by
MrY . Being working with translated.net, and using their cat solution, for over a year now. Though it is very simple and easy to use, matecat is a strong and reliable tool, mainly because it is run and maintained by an excellent team of experts.
Highly recommended!

Apple Users Rejoice
Review by
Alan Dickey (X) . I and many thousands like me have contacted Trados over the years and enquired when they will produce a MacOS compatible version of their software. No progress whatsoever has been made and the company is refusing to commit to any development for the growing Apple market.
This application will save you hundreds of pounds/euros/dollars and it imports and exports Trados files so that you can work with those who use Trados, which is itself a great application. Just not much use to Apple users unless they go down the road of bootcamping/Parallels/VM Fusion etc.
I have no desire to work with Windows or Windows applications - they can in my experience be more unwieldy and unreliable and bring little joy.
I also like the idea of using freeware that I can contribute to the development of by uploading my own translation memories for others to use. It is the hip thing to do.
