I am a freelance translator specialising in subtitling/audiovisual translation. I also have extensive experience in the fields of international development, healthcare and pharmaceutical.

My most recent audiovisual projects include providing English subtitles for Spanish documentary films and reality-style TV shows. I have also provided subtitles for corporate videos, working from English into other language. Additionally, I regularly subtitle English TV programmes for SDH.

Having worked for over ten years as a part-time freelance translator, I recently spent a year working for a Bristol-based language agency specialising in the market research industry. I was responsible for developing the audio services department, including subtitling services, in addition to working on numerous market research healthcare/pharma projects, multilingual QA and translating Spanish and Portuguese files into English.

I completed an MA in Translation at the University of Bristol in 2014. I also hold a BA(Hons) 2:1 degree in Hispanic Studies from Liverpool University, and studied Spanish and Portuguese translation and interpreting as a part of the course.
