I am originally from Hyderabad, India and have done all my schooling in a convent school. Finished my graduation in subjects like food and nutrition, microbiology, bio-chemistry and sociology and also succesfully completed masters in food and nutrition.
After working in a nationalised bank for 3 years came to the Netherlands and found the language as a big barrier to pursue career in the area of interest. So started learning Dutch language in tilburg University. Once i finished that, i had to keep up with the developments of the computer technology. So started to learn from bits and bytes to web designing, desk top publishing etc.
This brought me into the work atmosphere of Philips Medical Systems and Philips Semiconductors. While working for this global companies had lots of opportunites to help all the foreigners to settle in the Netherlands and translated all kind of documents for them, (dutch to english) - from local town- hall letters, bank letters, school admission forms, marriage certificates, mortgage transactions, etc etc.
Had the opportunity to do a nation-wide telecasted advertisement for KNOR product called 12enjoy. It was a product for inidan tandoori masala and they needed somebody with a indian face and could speak the dutch language, so i was selected after auditioning for this part.
I had helped lots of dutch tourists travelling to india with some letters and notes from English to Hindi. and also have written lots of thank you notes in Hindi on their behalf to the people in India who had helped them during thier stay in India. Letters and notes written in Hindi were again translated by me into English.
I sincerely will do my very best in translating documents(in the fileds that are specified) in the language pairs that i have chosen. |
