den haag - Het infrastructurele megaproject hogesnelheidslijn heeft opnieuw vertraging opgelopen. Op z’n vroegst zullen de snelle treinen naar Parijs in december 2009 gaan rijden. Dat heeft minister Eurlings van Verkeer en Waterstaat donderdag gezegd in een Kamerdebat over de hsl. Zowel oppositie- als coalitiepartijen spreken van een ernstige toestand.
In de 23ste voortgangsrapportage werd – nog maar enkele weken geleden – gemeld dat er in elk geval komende zomer een trein met 250 kilometer per uur naar Frankrijk zou rijden, iets dat aanvankelijk vorig jaar al het geval zou zijn. Nu is het de vraag of die treinen er eind 2009 zullen zijn: de levering van locomotieven door de buitenlandse bedrijven AnsaldoBreda en Bombardier blijft almaar uit.

«ΔΕ ΘΑ ΔΕΧΘΟΥΜΕ ΤΟΝ ΑΦΑΝΙΣΜΟ ΜΑΣ»
Πραγματοποιήθηκε η γενική συνέλευση των κατοίκων την οποία συγκάλεσε η κοινότητα, στην οποία επισημάνθηκαν τα στοιχεία που συνηγορούν στο να δημιουργηθεί πρόβλημα στη περιοχή. «Η συγκεκριμένη πρόταση της περιφέρειας αποτελεί τη χειρότερη επιλογή που ταυτόχρονα υποβαθμίζει τη περιοχή μας, χωρίς να δίνει λύση ουσιαστική στο πρόβλημα της αποκομιδής των απορριμάτων της ευρύτερης περιοχής», τονίζεται στην ανακοίνωση—απόφαση της γενικής συνέλευσης των κατοίκων, το περιεχόμενο της οποίας είναι το ακόλουθο:
«Με την παρούσα επιστολή επιθυμούμε να ενημερώσουμε τα κάτωθι:
1. Η παραπάνω θέση βρίσκεται στην είσοδο του χωριού σε άμεση οπτική επαφή με το χωριό και προκαλεί οπτική ρύπανση.
2. Η απόσταση αυτής είναι μόλις 200 μέτρα από το μεγάλης αρχαιολογικής αξίας των βυζαντινών αρχαιοτήτων όρος «Μουχλί» και απόσταση 200 μέτρα από τη βυζαντινή σπηλιά του Ιερού Ναού Αγίας Τριάδας. Τόπος γνωστός λατρείας των κατοίκων του χωριού και της ευρύτερης περιοχής, όπου ήδη έχει δρομολογηθεί από την Ιερά Μητρόπολη η στέγαση μοναστικής κοινότητας και έχουν ξεκινήσει εργασίες.
3. Η θέση αυτή βρίσκεται μεταξύ της παλαιάς εθνικής οδού Αθήνας-Καλαμάτας και του επαρχιακού δρόμου που συνδέει τη παλαιά εθνική οδό με τον Αχλαδόκαμπο.
4. Γειτνιάζει με την κοινοτική βροχοδεξαμενή από την οποία εξυπηρετούνται οι κτηνοτρόφοι του χωριού.
5. Πλησίον υπάρχει οικισμός κτηνοτρόφων, όπου η κοινότητα με την βοήθεια της Νομαρχιακής Αυτοδιοίκησης έχει κάνει έργα ηλεκτροδότησης και υδροδότησης των κατοίκων της περιοχής βελτιώνοντας έτσι το βιοτικό επίπεδο αυτών.
6. Περιβάλλεται από ιδιοκτησίες και ελαιόδεντρα.
7. Σύμφωνα με την επιστημονική θέση του καθηγητή του Γεωπονικού κ. Μιγκήρου οι υδρογεωλογικές συνθήκες της περιοχής είναι απαγορευτικές στη δημιουργία χώρου προσωρινής αποθήκευσης απορριμάτων, για το λόγο ότι υπάρχει έντονη καυστικότητα (αποκάρκωση), πράγμα το οποίο επιταχύνει την επιμόλυνση του υδροφόρου ορίζοντα, με αποτέλεσμα να μολύνεται μέχρι και η παράκτια περιοχή και η θάλασσα.
8. Η ατμοσφαιρική ρύπανση του χωριού από τους ανέμους, αποτελεί άλλο ένα ακόμη σημαντικό στοιχείο για την ακαταλληλότητα του χώρου.
9. Μέσα στα πλαίσια της προστασίας του περιβάλλοντος για την παραγωγή ηλεκτρικής ενέργειας, αποδεχτήκαμε, παρά τις αντιδράσεις των κατοίκων και συμβιβαστήκαμε με την εγκατάσταση δύο αιολικών πάρκων και την αδειοδότηση τρίτου. Παρόλα αυτά προσπαθούν να μας επιβάλλουν και την εγκατάσταση τόπου αποθήκευσης και μεταφόρτωσης σκουπιδιών χωρίς καμία περιβαλλοντική μελέτη.
Η συγκεκριμένη πρόταση της περιφέρειας αποτελεί τη χειρότερη επιλογή που ταυτόχρονα υποβαθμίζει τη περιοχή μας, χωρίς να δίνει λύση ουσιαστική στο πρόβλημα της αποκομιδής των απορριμάτων της ευρύτερης περιοχής. Ο Αχλαδόκαμπος δεν θα δεχθεί τον ΑΦΑΝΙΣΜΟ του.»

A general assembly of residents called by the community was held, at which some factors were pointed out which threaten to create a problem in the area. “This proposal by the District constitutes the worst choice since it degrades our area without giving any real solution to the problem of waste removal in the wider area,” stresses the announcement/decision of the general assembly of residents. The contents of the decision are as follows:
“With the present letter we wish to announce the following:
The General Secretariat of the District of the Peloponnese is discussing as a possible deposit site for storing and reloading the waste of three counties (Arcadia-Argolida-Corinthia), the area of Agia Triada Ahladokambou. The Community of Ahladokambos called a General Assembly of village residents, at which it was unanimously decided that:
1. The above-mentioned site is located at the entrance to the village, in clear view from the village, and causes visual pollution.
2. The site is located at a distance of only 200 meters from the mountain “Moukli,” which is of great archeological significance for the Byzantine period of antiquity, and at a distance 200 meters from the Byzantine cave of the Sacred Church of the Holy Trinity. This is a well-known place of worship for the people of the village and of the wider area, where housing for a monastic community has already been planned by the diocese and work has begun.
3. The site is located between the old Athens-Kalamata national road and the secondary road which connects the old national road with Ahladokambos.
4. The site borders on the community rain cistern which is used by stock breeders of the village for their livestock.
5. Nearby the site there is a settlement of stock breeders, where the community, with the help of the Provincial Government, has installed electricity and plumbing, in order to improve the standard of living.
6. The site is surrounded by properties and olive trees.
7. According to the scientific position of Agricultural Professor Migirou, the hydro-geological conditions of the area forbid the creation of a space for the temporary storage of waste because severe causticity exists, which accelerates the contamination of the underground water, with the result that contamination might spread as far as the coastal area and the sea.
8. Air pollution for the village from wind constitutes another important factor determining the inappropriateness of the site.
9. In the context of environmental protection, and in spite of the objections of residents, we have accepted and come to terms with the establishment of two windmill parks and the giving of permits for a third park. In spite of this they are trying to force upon us the establishment of a site for storing and reloading waste without any environmental study whatsoever.
This proposal from the District constitutes the worst choice since it degrades our area without giving any real solution to the problem of waste removal in the wider area.
Ahladokambos will not accept its ANNIHILATION.”

Indien erlebt den größten Betrugsfall seiner Geschichte: Der IT-Konzern Satyam hat seine Bilanz um mehr als eine Milliarde Dollar aufgebläht. Firmengründer Raju, einst umworbener Star, gilt jetzt als Betrüger der Nation - und die ganze Branche steht unter Verdacht.
Hamburg - So schlecht war die Stimmung auf den Fluren in der Firmenzentrale im südindischen Hyderabad noch nie. "Niemand weiß, was aus uns wird", sagt ein Mitarbeiter des IT-Konzerns Satyam. Vom größten Betrugsfall in der indischen Geschichte ist die Rede, von einem "indischen Enron." Premierminister Manmohan Singh spricht gar von einem "Schandfleck für unser Wirtschaftsimage".
Der Grund: Firmengründer B. Ramalinga Raju, 54, bislang gefeierter Star der Branche, soll sieben Jahre lang die Bilanzen gefälscht und um mehr als eine Milliarde Dollar aufgebläht haben. Unter anderem soll er rund 6000 Stellen in den Büchern geführt haben, die es tatsächlich gar nicht gab. Gewinne wurden kolossal übertrieben, Schulden kleingerechnet.
Aber der Reihe nach. Satyam, was "Wahrhaftigkeit" bedeutet, das war eine dieser indischen Traumgeschichten, von der niemand dachte, dass sie einmal so böse endet: Raju, ein armer, aber kluger Bauernsohn, entdeckt seine Leidenschaft für Computer. Er gründet 1987 eine Firma, vier Jahre später öffnet sich die indische Wirtschaft dem Weltmarkt.
Aus dem Computerladen erwächst ein Global Player: Softwareprogrammierung, IT-Beratung, Outsourcing. Das Interesse großer ausländischer Firmen an den Dienstleistungen ist groß, zumal Satyam zu sagenhaft günstigen Preisen arbeitet, billiger selbst als die meisten indischen Konkurrenten. Zu den Kunden gehören Weltkonzerne wie General Electric, Nestlé und Sony. Inzwischen arbeiten angeblich 53.000 Menschen in aller Welt für Satyam.

People are speaking of the greatest fraud case in Indian history, of an “Indian Enron.” First minister Manmohan Singh is even speaking of a “blot on our industry’s image”.
The reason: company founder B. Ramalinga Raju, 54, till now the celebrated star of the branch, is accused of falsifying the balances for seven years and inflating them by more than a billion dollars. Among other things he allegedly entered around 6000 positions in the books, which did not actually exist. Profits were colossally exaggerated, debts underestimated.
