I prepared the launch of new classes for Kindergarten and Primary School for a bilingual school in Portugal – trained and prepared teachers, created a unique look for each grade, tested and certified the curriculum and pre-approved enrolments.

I have always had a passion for languages and have worked, on and off, as a freelance translator for 6 years. During this time I decided to build on my experience in the business world, understand how companies deal with challenges to succeed and boost sales while identifying key problems and handicaps to encompass what is needed to successully build a global company. This has taken me to deal with projects from several tiers and the most diversified industries. It has also allowed me to get in touch with all areas of a growing business, from simple product datasheets to user manuals or complex legal agreements.

I have since dedicated my time to localizing companies in Portuguese speaking countries or international companies localizing in Portuguese speaking countries and created great results for successful globalization by using attractive marketing strategies which are culturally specific, namely, brand makeovers, articles and press releases, social media, blogs, videos, eNewsletters, etc. The scope of the areas have been: websites, online sales stores, betting sites, games sites, telecommunications industry, accounting, ERP and CRM software houses including software localization, among other generic customers.
