English to Russian: TECHNOLOGY AND EQUIPMENT FOR RECOVERY OF OIL AND GAS
Source text - English TECHNOLOGY AND EQUIPMENT FOR RECOVERY OF OIL AND GAS
Substantiation of Downhole Lifting Method, and Wellhead and Downhole Equipment
Choice of Production Method
Free-flow production method
The design assumes that gas lift will be available early in the project life. Approximately 6 MCFD of produced gas is required for fuel to drive the generators. Additional produced gas above this level is then available for gas lift. Thus, gas lift should be available after the first or second well drilled from the platform. The duration of the free-flow period is therefore only the first few months.
At initial water-free producing conditions, formation pressures of 17.5 – 22.0 MPa and solution GORs of 63-126 tonnes/m3 will allow free-flow production owing to the gas energy. The estimated free-flow pressure amounts to 13.4 MPa for dual-target wells completed in Zones XI and XIII. During development of the Arkutun-Dagi Field, oil producers will be completed with 140 mm (5 ½ inch) tubing. Inflow calculations have shown that typical AD producing wells equipped with 140 mm (5 ½ inch) tubing would flow, in a 2,900 meter well operating up to 2.4 MPa (350 psi) wellhead pressure, at rates of 1,000 tonnes/day (7,000 BOPD) without gas lift. With gas lift added, this rate increases to 1,200 tonnes/day (8,400 BOPD). Potential inflows from the formation for a typical completion with 140 mm (5 ½ inch) tubing are shown in the inflow performance curves presented below (Figure 10.1.1) with and without gas lift. The incremental lifting benefit provided by gas lift increases significantly at elevated water cut as the waterflood matures.
Translation - Russian
