My name is Emilia Prekate-Kyminas and I work as a professional freelance translator since 2003.
I translate from English and French into Greek and Greek into English and I mainly specialise in:
- Legal;
- Automotive;
- Marketing/advertising;
- IT;
- Business/commerce;
- Clothing/textile;
- Football; and
- EU translations.
I have a BA in Translation from the University of Corfu, Greece.
I worked for 5 years as a communication & project coordinator for a major Greek translation company, a position which offered me the possibility to get in touch with the other, more practical aspect of translation, the organising aspect, and to understand more thoroughly the clients' special demands and needs.
In addition, I have been working, since 2003, as a freelance translator for major local and international translation and other companies.
Prices vary depending on the subject-matter of the text to be translated, the volume of work and the urgency.
