Temos uma nova lente torica que tem uma superfície traseira torica e temos condições de colocar o grão requerido e as condições prismáticas para orientação na superfície dianteira.
Inicialmente, poderíamos fornecer lentes com as superfícies dianteiras e traseiras cortadas (seca ou hidratadas), mas poderíamos ampliar para fornecer quatro tipos toricos dos cilindros diferentes, cortados na superfície traseira, montada num bloco que permitiria a Worldvision cortar a superfície dianteira para fazer o corte esférico final e as especificações prismaticas. Poderíamos também fornecer os tornos (polytech) para realizar este função, os mandris de impressão e os programas. Idealmente, você teria dois tornos instalados, um para fazer a impressão e o outro para fazer o corte periférico (ou o corte do cleanup (acabamento) como é chamado.

Translation - English Toric lenses.
We have a new toric lens that has a toric back surface and we would put the required power and the prismatics for orientation on the front surface.
Initially, we could supply lenses with front and back surfaces cut (dry or hydrated) but we could work towards supplying four different toric cylinder types, cut on the back surface, mounted on a chuck that would leave Worldvision to cut the front surface to provide the final spherical cut and the prismatics. We could also supply the lathes (polytech) for providing this function and the offset collets and the programs. Ideally, you would have 2 lathes set up, one to provide the offset and one to do the peripheral cut (or cleanup cut is another name ). We would include in the design, SAM optics, which our patented aberration control methodology that we believe gives the most advanced optic design in the contact lens industry
What we think is the first priority is to supply you with 10 lenses that you could test on real people. We would like to get the results of these tests. Please send me the prescriptions for these 10 lenses and we will build immediately.
Multifocal lenses
We would also be interested in supplying multifocal and toric multifocal using the same technology. Once we have supplied and reviewed the toric lenses (as discussed above), we could progress to multifocal lenses.
Please give me your feedback on the toric lenses require for testing as soon as possible. I have indicated to UltraVision management that my number one choice of partners in Brazil is Worldvision. We still have some way to go before we can announce that we have a partnership but we should work towards that goal as fast as we can.
It may be advisable for Worlvision to make a visit to our plant in England to discuss the details with our experts.
Please respond and if possible give me the answers to those outstanding questions plus one other (How many RGP lenses do you supply?).

Born in Goa, Portuguese India, brought up in Bombay, India, I was educated under the British language system, although my social life and background was always on American lines. After 2 years of Medical school, I embarked on a navigation career. After 6 years in a Hongkong based company, with 2 years in Australia, the Middle East and Europe, i did 6 years in Maersk as a navigating officer, in The Far East, Europe and the Americas.
I've been living in Brazil the last 22 years, as an English teacher and translator, in different areas of professional applications, principally International Finance, Economy, Commerce, International Law, Insurance, shipping, and other Business and Culture activities.
I worked as the official translator for the Indian Consulate from 1998 to 2002.
I translated reports and contracts on Finance, Law and Insurance from 1996 to 2006.
I have written a book in English and Portuguese.
I am in the process of writing an English grammar works for Portuguese speakers.
Married to an Argentinian wife, I was constantly exposed to the Spanish language.
Having two children living in Brazil, I was obliged to enter into different areas of use of the language, from studies to entertainment to cultural applications.
