I am a professionally qualified linguist and have been working as a self employed interpreter and translator since 1985, accomplished in all areas of translation and interpretation, tuition and consultancy.Being an interpreter requires the ability to listen effectively, work under pressure in a fast changing environment and adhere to the Code of Practice for Interpreters. I have gained good communication, listening and organisational skills and I have to apply in all occasions tact and diplomacy.As a translator I apply different skills such as a good eye for detail, analysis of the text based on the comparative linguistics and information technology skills.
