Education is the most powerful tool in the fight against HIV/AIDS. Knowledge about how HIV is transmitted and how to prevent infection is a key defence in the spread of HIV. But in many societies, girls and young women do not have easy access to such information due to a lack of education. They are also denied access to prevention services, such as male or female condoms.
It is vital that women everywhere are provided with information and access to prevention methods that they can control. (Microbicides, a substance that can come in the form of a gel but is still being developed, could provide women with such control).
Protection, Respect and the Role of Men
Women, both married and unmarried are put at risk of contracting HIV by the behaviour of others. In many parts of the world, marriage and long-term relationships do not protect women from HIV and their lack of social power and economic independence mean that women have to rely on men’s cooperation to protect them from HIV.

Source text - English (A) pursuant to the terms of this Agreement, the Guarantor has agreed to guarantee the payment in full when due (whether at stated maturity, by reason of acceleration or otherwise) of all amounts due by the Borrower to the Lender or Ex-Im Bank, respectively, under this Agreement or any Order Note;
(B) the establishment of the Credit will facilitate exports from the United States to the Borrower's Country;
(C) a condition to the Lender's extension of the Credit under this Agreement is the availability of the Ex-Im Bank Guarantee of the Export-Import Bank of the United States, an Agency of the United States of America (“Ex-Im Bank”) pursuant to the terms and conditions of the Master Guarantee Agreement (Medium-Term Credits) No. 0012-M, dated as of June 13, 2001, between the Lender and Ex-Im Bank (as the same may be amended, supplemented or otherwise modified from time to time.

Reality: In the past people believed memory loss was a normal part of aging, often regarding even Alzheimer’s as natural age-related decline. Experts now recognize severe memory loss as a symptom of serious illness.
Whether memory naturally declines to some extent remains an open question. Many people feel that their memory becomes less sharp as they grow older, but determining whether there is any scientific basis for this belief is a research challenge still being addressed.
Myth 2: Alzheimer’s disease is not fatal.
Reality: Alzheimer's disease has no survivors. It destroys brain cells and causes memory changes, erratic behaviors and loss of body functions. It slowly and painfully takes away a person's identity, ability to connect with others, think, eat, talk, walk and find his or her way home.

الحكومة لا ترى ما خلف الحوائط
علق وزير الداخلية إبان فترة الانتخابات على تصاعد الحديث عن شراء الاصوات وضخ المال السياسي بغزارة، بعدم امكانه التعرف على ما يجري خلف الحوائط، وان كان وزيرا فهو في النهاية «بشر»، على حد قوله كما نقلته الصحف في حينه. وفي مقولة اخرى له في الانتخابات السابقة انه تفقد المناطق ولم ير عملية شراء اصوات. ومن نافلة القول ان التعلل بمثل هذه المقولات يتغاضى عن الامكانات المؤسسية لأجهزة الامن المتخصصة وترسانتها المتراكمة من الخبرة المهنية، الا ان اطلاق هذه الامكانات او تكبيلها مرهون بإرادة القائمين عليها ورؤسائهم على خط التماس وخارجه.
وإبان المعركة الانتخابية تجمعت ادلة شبه يقينية، بل ويقينية احيانا، ردعتها عوامل مثل الخوف واحتمالات الدفع بعدم الاختصاص والتدخل «في ما لا يعنيك»، اتفقت عليها جمعيات نفع عام مثل تقارير الرصد لجمعية الشفافية الكويتية وتجمعات شعبية شكلت لمناهضة هذه الظاهرة في بعض الدوائر وتصريحات لمرشحين وكتاب وناشطين استمرت بعد ذلك لتجري نفس الاحاديث على ألسنة النواب وفي الندوات وعلى صفحات الجرائد. وتوجت اخيرا ببلاغ للنائب العام ضد وزيري الداخلية والمالية بصفتيهما بطلب التحقيق في استخدام المال السياسي في الانتخابات البرلمانية الماضية.

The government can not see through the walls
Din has been increasing after elections about buying votes and heavy pumping of money for political reasons. On that the Minister of the Interior's comment was that he can not through the walls. The newspapers also quoted his then saying that after all, he is a "human being", even if he is a minister. In another situation after the last elections, he said he checked all the constituencies, but did not find any act of votes buying. It goes without saying, though, that using such sayings as an excuse overlooks the organizational capacities of concerned security bodies and their cumulative arsenal of professional experience. However, exploitation or restriction of these capacities is only a matter of willingness by those in charge and their chiefs on the touch-line and beyond it.
Somehow definite, and sometimes certain, evidences have piled up after the election battle, yet they were discouraged by factors like fear and the possibility of refutation upon incompetence and meddling "with other's affairs". The evidences were agreed upon by non-profit organization; such as the observation reports of the Kuwait Transparency Society, and other public gatherings formed for the sake of resisting such phenomenon in some constituencies, in addition to the statements of some candidates, authors and activists that continued to circulate the same words between some deputies, in seminars and in newspapers. All these efforts were finally culminated in submitting a statement to the attorney general against both the Minister of the Interior and the Minister of Finance in their formal capacities. The statement asked for investigation in their employing money meant for political reasons in the last parliamentary elections.
