My name is Fredrik Bjoerklund and I’m 27 years old and I come from Sweden. I have a B.Sc in Chemistry from Umea University, Sweden. My major interest is biochemistry and protein structures and I have a broad knowledge in chemistry and molecular biology as well as the English language. I have also been an exchange student for 2 years at Anhui University in China where I majored in Chinese language. At present I am studying English linguistics, sociolinguistics and business economy and will finish my M.Sc degree in Chemistry in December, 2007

I consider myself a very creative, analytical, methodical and independent person. But I also see myself as a hardworking team-player. I’m a person who likes solving puzzles and riddles, a skill that is good to have when you are working in the science field, as problem solving is what we live for. I also see myself as a people person, someone who people very fast can relate to and trust. I am very experienced in translation from english to swedish and vice versa, mostly technical manuals.

My biggest passion in life is traveling all over the world with my wife and meeting new people and experiencing new cultures. My second biggest passion is language, which is why I want to work as a translator. In my spare time I also enjoy various sports and spending time with my family.
