I have a bachelors degree in Italian and Art History from Rutgers University (Douglass College) and also an associates degree in Construction Technology from Middlsex County College. I was elected into membership of the Phi Sigma Iota International Foreign Language Honor Society in 1997. I studied French for two years in middle school and four years in high school. As Michigan is so close to the French Canadian borders, in high school I used to listen closely to the French radio station from Windsor, Canada. While a was a full time travel agent in NYC for ten years, I have travelled to Japan, Belize, Yugoslavia, Italy, and Switzerland and worked in ethnic travel agencies where foreign languages were spoken, namely Italian, French, Spanish, Hindu, Serbo-Croatian, Japanese, Russian, Malayalam, and Urdu. I am fascinated by foreign languages and work well with foreigners.
