I could best be described as someone who loves the art of communication and life on the streets.

In my opinion, effective and sincere communication has the power to improve situations in our current civilization. Learning languages is key to building bridges between cultures and growing personally. The purpose of main stream media is to distort reality and create animosity among groups of different cultural background so as to create a justification for complete control of the human mind. This creates a dangerous environment that fills the rich man's pocket while we all slaughter eachother. By learning a different language and its culture in depth, it is possible to bypass this mechanism and learn directly what another culture is all about. Going to another country and immersing onseself in its culture allows you to see directly what is in front of you. This type of communication and experience helps to create bridges between people and and to establish a safer environment for all of us.

I hail from Los Angeles in Southern California. A bilingual and bicultural education in Spanish and English set the the stage early on in my childhood for my two passions: language and music.

I studied Germanic Studies and currently earn a living by teaching English and performing my personal music repertoire on stage. I also translate all kinds of texts using the three languages I speak well: English, German and Spanish. I have a keen interest for language and culture in general. A solid foundation in French helps me get by when I visit France and currently I am learning Hungarian which is quite a challenge.

I love living in Europe because life really takes place on the streets here and exciting conversations can surge on the spot in a café or a train.

For me Hamburg is a prime example of a world-class trading city born of its ancient seafaring traditions. I love meeting new people in this great city and exchanging ideas.
