Hello and thanks for visiting my profile. I am a freelance translator from India. My mother tongue is Hindi and English is my second language. I am an accomplished translator and can translate documents from English to Hindi with ease. I am equally comfortable in Hindi to English translation as well.

My Background:
I am an Engineer and have educational background in Finance too. I earned my bachelors and masters degrees in Engineering from IIT Roorkee (formerly University of Roorkee), India and University of Washington, USA respectively. I have passed level 1 of Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) program from the CFA Institute, USA. Prior to venturing into translation field, I worked as a Marketing Manager for a reputed company.

Regarding my language skills, I appreciate the nuances of both Hindi and English languages. I have excellent command over Hindi, as I was born and brought up in UP, India – the Hindi heartland. I am good in English too, as I have lived and studied in the USA for three years and have cleared TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) exam.

My USP:
You would probably agree with me that translating technical, financial, and marketing documents is a ‘tricky’ job and this is where typical, run-of-the-mill translators starts sweating and deliver mediocre results at best. My diverse educational background and work experience makes me an ideal translator for technical, financial, and sales & marketing documents. Moreover, in my work, I strive for correct terminology, linguistic accuracy, and timely delivery.
