I have studied International Communications with major in Economics. Receiving the degree was subject to the successful completion of two foreign language courses resulting in the acquirement of two Advanced Level Language Certificates. My chosen languages were English and German. I have successfully graduated in 2006 after which I moved to London (UK) and lived there for 5 years. I have recently moved to nearby Milton Keynes and started a professional career as a project manager in a translation agency. Apart from managing and monitoring the translation of various projects, I also work in the capacity of a translator[EN-HU]&[HU-EN] and occasionally as a proof-reader[EN-HU]&[HU-EN]. I have also worked on several occasions as an interpreter[EN-HU]&[HU-EN] for Verbatim Interpreters on a freelance basis.
I have been working as a freelance translator -on a part time basis - for a couple of years now which - looking at the superstars of the industry - puts me among the beginners.:) At the moment I am interested in all kinds of assignments. Rate of pay is not of crucial importance. I am aiming to gain as much experience as possible and in a wide variety of fields.
