Source text - Finnish Säätiön toimesta Mellunkylän seurakunnan kirkossa järjestetyssä jumalanpalveluksessa sattui keväällä 2004 yksittäinen tapaus kahden säätiön papin esitettyä Helsingin hiippakunnan piispalle toivomuksen olla osallistumatta jumalanpalvelusyhteisön ehtoollisen viettämiseen. Tästä tapauksesta ja Rengon seurakunnassa sattuneista naispappeuskiistaankin kytkeytyneistä tapauksista sekä ilmiannosta säätiön ns. luvattomista ehtoollisen vietoista yksityiskodissa on seurannut runsaan uutisoinnin lisäksi kahden tuomiokapitulin päättämää kurinpitoa mainittuihin pappeihin nähden määräajaksi tapahtuvin pappisvirasta pidättämisin. Näistä kurinpitorangaistuksista on tehty valitukset hallinto-oikeuksiin. Luther-säätiö on joutunut järjestämään jumalanpalveluksiaan mm. Adventtikirkon tiloissa luterilaisten seurakuntien kieltäydyttyä antamasta tilojaan säätiön järjestämiin jumalanpalveluksiin.
Kesällä 2004 teologian maisteri XXXX XXXXXXXXX vihittiin papiksi Ruotsissa Missionprovins´issa Suomessa toimivan Luther- säätiön palvelukseen. Saatuaan pappisvihkimyksen Vannasmaa on toimittanut Suomessa ainakin yhden kasteen, mistä seurauksena hänen pappisoikeuksistaan Suomen ev.lut. kirkossa on noussut kysymys. Tämä pappisvihkimyksen muualta kuin Suomen ev.lut. kirkon hiippakunnista hakemisen käytäntö näyttäisi olevan yleistymässä. Syyksi tähän on sanottu olevan mm. erillisvihkimysten puuttuminen.
Translation - English There was one case at a Foundation-sponsored service held at the Mellunkylä Parish in the spring of 2004, in which two Foundation pastors submitted a request to the Archbishop of Helsinki stating their desire to not administer Communion to the congregation. This case, cases related to disputes over the ordination of women in the Renko Parish, and reports of the Foundation illegally administering the Communion in private households has resulted in not only a great deal of press coverage, but also disciplinary measures taken by two Cathedral Chapters against the above-mentioned pastors, effectively suspending them from their duties. Appeals on the disciplinary measures have been filed with the Administrative Court. The Luther Foundation has been forced to hold its services in, for example, Seventh-day Adventist Church facilities, as Lutheran congregations have refused them access to their facilities to hold Foundation-sponsored services.
In the summer of 2004 XXXX XXXXXXXXX (MTh) was ordained in Sweden’s Missionprovins to serve in the Finland-based Luther Foundation. After receiving his Holy orders, Vannasmaa has performed at least one baptism in Finland, consequently raising questions within the Finnish Evangelical Lutheran Church concerning his right to serve as pastor. This practice of seeking the ordination of pastors outside the jurisdiction of the Finnish Evangelical Lutheran Church seems to be proliferating. The reason for this is said to be, for example, the lack of separate ordination ceremonies.

- Hela frågeformuläret kommer att fyllas i av de studieansvariga med patienten och vårdgivaren närvarande.
- Viss information angående sjukvårdsresurser kommer att hämtas från patientjournaler.
- Data angående informell vård samlas in genom direkta frågor till vårdgivaren.
- Om den primära vårdgivaren ej finns närvarande vid intervjutillfället kommer dessa delar inte fyllas i.
- Information om första sjukhusperioden kommer att samlas in vid det sista besöket (dag 90). Om patienten avslutar sin medverkan tidigare, ska dag 90 formuläret fyllas i på utskrivningsdagen.

- The entire questionnaire must be filled out by the canvasser in the presence of the patient and caregiver.
- Certain information concerning health care resources will be obtained from patient logs.
- Data concerning volunteer care is collected through the direct questioning of the caregiver.
- If the primary caregiver is not present at the interview, these sections must be left blank.
- Information on the first hospital stay will be collected at the last visit (day 90). If the patient ends their participation earlier, the day 90 form is to be filled out on the date of discharge.

Greetings and salutations!
My name is Aedan Zarrella and I'm a freelance translator (sole proprietorship) living in Finland. I'm originally from Chicago, but moved to Finland in 1989 to teach English to businesspeople.
I started my 'career' as a translator in 1997 while studying at Åbo Akademi University and have been doing it ever since. My first forays into the world of translation were through various translation agencies, but I eventually bit the bullet and struck out on my own as a sole proprietor. I have done translations for everything and everyone from major academic institutions, government and corporations to private persons and small organisations.
Even though my personal interests and studies lean more toward the 'soft' sciences--comparative religions, fine and applied arts, art history, literature and music--most of my translation work has been in business, industry and science. Being something of a linguistic masochist, I actually get a kick out of translating legal documents and contracts. There's something very appealing about the precision and care necessary in legal texts.
