Asylum The grant, by a state, of protection on its territory to individuals or groups of people from another state fleeing persecution or serious danger.
Asylum seekers Individuals or groups of people who apply for asylum in a country other than their own. They retain the status of asylum-seeker until their applications are considered and adjudicated.
Child dependency ratio The population aged under 15 years expressed as a percentage of the population of working age (15-64 years of age).

THE STRENGTHS
O F T H E POOR
Building inclusive business models can be daunting,
especially for companies that lack experience doing business with the poor.
Some of the greatest resources for conquering that challenge are found among
the poor themselves.
To leverage poor people’s strengths—working with them and building on
their social networks—is to reach deep into communities. When the poor take
over some tasks in a business model, transaction costs for the business decrease
while the poor receive new income opportunities. Moreover, poor people are
efficient and reliable at linking their communities to the broader market. They
have the knowledge and incentives to establish such links. And their strong social networks can often bridge market gaps and make up for missing enabling conditions (box 5.1).

ضرورة العمل على تعديل قانون اِلأحوال الشخصية بصورة كلية , موضوعيا وأجرائيا , لأن التعديلات الجزئية التي طرأت على القانون وغياب رؤية كلية تهدف الي تحقيق المصالح الفضلى للأسرة أدى الي خلق بيئة تشجع على العنف ضد النساء حيث بات راسخا لدى قطاع كبير من الرأي العام والقضاة أيضا ان النساء حصلت على حقوق ما كان ينبغى لهن الحصول عليها.
ضرورة نقل عبْ الإثبات فى مسائل الأحوال الشخصية على الرجل و أنشاء مباحث للأسرة يكون اختصاصها عمل التحريات اللازمة مع عمل سجل للأسرة يسجل فيه الحالة القانونية للأسرة يمكن الأستعانه به لتحديد الحقوق والألزامات للأطراف

Violence and Marriage
The Personal Status Law should be thoroughly amended, in terms of essence and procedures. This is because the partial amendments that were effected to the law, together with the absence of a comprehensive vision towards achieving the best interest of the family, have resulted in creating an environment fostering violence against women, whereas a considerable sector of the public opinion as well as the judges share a deep-rooted belief that women should not have been granted such rights.
The burden of proof, in personal status affairs, should be shouldered by men. Also a family investigation division should be established, having the competence to conducting the necessary investigations and creating a family register to record the legal status of the family, as a reference for determining rights and obligations of all parties concerned.

I'm middle-aged married woman, has one 16 years boy called Karim.
I've obtained my translation diploma from the American University in Cairo in 1986,
and worked as a Freelance translator and subtitler in Show Time Satelite channels.
But I've made a turning point in 1992 when I joined the Tourism Field in which I've upgraded in the series of management positions to end up as a Tourism Manager in one of the leading travel companies in Egypt.
However I had to quit such an interesting career for personal reasons, and fortunately enough I've returned to my first love; translation, hoping that I would catch up what I've missed throughout the past years I've spent in Tourism.
