I have wide experience of simultaneous interpreting experience in many sectors, some business examples are logistics, engineering, shipping, publishing, finance, food and leisure industries, although I also have experience of government conferences at all levels, including some very high brow work!

I am a reliable and very professional simultaneous booth partner with a very high level of Spanish, offering excellent English mother tongue relay for fellow interpreters.

I also have experience of public sector work and hold a DPSI (English law).

With regard to translation work, I specialise in medicine, having worked in the sector and translated hundreds of thousands of words on the subject. I have experience of orthopaedics, HIV + AIDS, cardiac surgery, neurology, cancer (various), internal/GU medicine, psychiatry, reproductive health, pharmaceuticals, Accident and Emergency reports, as well as journal articles on many subjects, including drug interactions.

I also translate marketing texts and basic legal documents (simple contracts, birth, death and marriage certificates etc.)

Translation rates are very reasonable and depend on the level of difficulty of the text, and whether the client is an agency, not for profit or a private client. There is a minimum charge for texts of under 500 words.

Simultaneous interpreting is charged per day, and the rate depends on whether the client is an agency, not for profit or a private client. Over 7 working hours a day will start to incur overtime at a rate of £35/hour.
