Ai giorni d'oggi si contano in duemila circa, i produttori che si affidano alla tutela del consorzio il quale per i propri meriti di operatività e rappresentatività, ha ottenuto l'incarico di vigilanza sul Chianti da parte del Ministero dell'Agricoltura con D.M 22 Maggio 1978.
ATTIVITA' del CONSORZIO
• controllo in fase di produzione sui vigneti iscritti all'Albo
• controllo in fase di vinificazione ed invecchiamento sulla rispondenza delle caratteristiche chimico-fisico-organolettiche del vino
• partecipazione ai controlli in fase di imbottigliamento della D.O.C.G.
• rilascio dei contrassegni di Stato solo al Chianti che ha superato l'esame di idoneità
• controlli a riscontro della qualità sull'imbottigliato prelevato nei mercati
• assistenza tecnico-informativa alle aziende associate durante tutto il processo produttivo del vino.
Con provvedimento n. 61141 del 7 aprile 1998, l Ministero per le Politiche Agricole, ha affidato al Consorzio Chianti l'incarico di vigilanza sulle denominazioni di origine controllata "Vin Santo del Chianti" e "Colli dell'Etruria Centrale" dove viene applicata (su produzioni che si affiancano alla DOCG CHIANTI per vini di qualità diversa ) la stessa attività e gli stessi controlli. Punto d'orgoglio della attività del consorzio, è appunto la valorizzazione e il riconoscimento della denominazione "Vin Santo del Chianti" per un prodotto principe nella tradizione toscana.
La funzione istituzionale del Consorzio si è potenziata con lo sviluppo di attività promozionali come la valorizzazione di prodotti come l'olio extravergine di oliva, per il quale si attende una "denominazione di origine", come gli itinerari "Vie del Chianti", segnalati da specifica cartellonistica.
IL CHIANTI D.O.C.G.
Il Chianti D.O.C.G. è la zona di produzione costituita da territori delimitati per legge, delle province di Arezzo, Firenze, Pisa, Pistoia, Prato e Siena. Tali territori si presentano con caratteristiche collinare a grandi terrazze con vallate attraversate da fiumi. L'origine del vino Chianti ha radici antichissime, ma soltanto nel 1800 ha ottenuto la Denominazione di Origine Controllata con il Decreto del Presidente della Repubblica 9/8/67 in cui se ne stabiliscono le caratteristiche in un Disciplinare di Produzione.
La Denominazione "Chianti" è integrata con le seguenti specifiche:
• Classico
• Colli Aretini
• Colli Fiorentini
• Colli Senesi
• Colline Pisane
• Montalbano
• Rufina
• Montespertoli
corrispondenti, le prime, alle sottozone geografiche, contemplate dalla prima delimitazione del territorio, stabilita con D.M. 31/7/32, mentre l'ultima, Montespertoli, è stata riconosciuta con Decreto 8/9/97. La Denominazione di Origine Controllata e Garantita, con D.P.R. 2/7/84 ha contribuito al riconoscere il particolare pregio del vino Chianti e per questo inoltre ai controlli già previsti, deve sottostare ad un esame organolettico da parte di Commissioni statali di degustazione presso le Camere di Commercio e a specifiche analisi chimiche, e solo dopo aver superato tali esami puo essere imbottigliato contraddistinto da un contrassegno che ne attesta la validità. Con decreto ministeriale 5/8/96, è stata modificata la precedente normativa con la emanazione di due distinti disciplinari per i vini Chianti e per il vino Chianti Classico. Interessante notare il recupero della tipologia "Superiore", con più alte caratteristiche e che riguarda potenzialmente tutto il territorio del Chianti. I vitigni fondamentali del vigneto Chianti sono:
• Sangiovese 75-100%,
• Canaiolo fino al 10%,
• Trebbiano e Malvasia fino al 10% (per il Classico fino al 6%)

Complementari a bacca rossa fino al 10% (per il Classico fino al 15%)
La resa massima di uva per ettaro è:
• 90 quintali per il Chianti,
• 80 quintali per Colli Aretini, Colli Fiorentini, Colli Senesi, Colline Pisane, Montalbano, Rufina e Montespertoli,
• 75 quintali per Chianti Classico e Chianti Superiore.
Il Chianti è di colore rosso rubino, tendente al granato con l'invecchiamento, di sapore armonico, asciutto, sapido, leggermente tannico, con odore intensamente vinoso anche con profumo di mammola. Il Chianti puo essere consumato, per qualche tipologia, come vino giovane, fresco e gradevole al palato, ma è ben nota anche, per alcune zone, la sua vocazione ad un medio e lungo invecchiamento, con cui matura colore, profumo e sapore inconfondibili.

The first of Italy’s grape-grower/winemaker consortiums was established on May 14, 1924, when a group of 33 producers gathered in Radda in Chianti to create a consortium to protect Chianti wine and its trademark of origin. In fact, famous Chianti wine was being imitated in other parts of Tuscany and it was necessary to set up an organization to prevent imitations and simultaneously promote a wine territory already delimited in 1716 by an edict issued by Grand Duke of Tuscany Cosimo III. Members of the newly founded consortium immediately chose as a trademark the Gallo Nero (Black Rooster), historic symbol of the ancient Chianti Military League, and by the end of September 1924 the Consortium had 189 members.
From 1924 to 1967 the Consortium was engaged in long and difficult legal battles to obtain exclusive recognition of the fact that wines made in Chianti territory are different from the wines made elsewhere in Tuscany. A first important step in this direction was the 1932 ministerial decree that identified seven distinct zones of Chianti wine production: the wine made within Chianti’s geographical borders was permitted to use the adjective “Classico” to distinguish it from the others. This concession acknowledged the wine’s territoriality, origin and primogeniture well before the denomination system was introduced. From that moment on, “Classico” meant “the first” or “the original.” Another milestone was reached in 1967 with the approval of a decree recognizing a single Denominazione di Origine Controllata (DOC) for Chianti, within which “Classico” was regulated as a wine with more selective characteristics.
In 1984 Chianti - and consequently the oldest zone of origin, Chianti Classico - obtained Denomination of Origin Controlled and Guaranteed (D.O.C.G.) status, the highest recognition for fine Italian wines. Three years later, in 1987, and in anticipation of an imminent law that would oblige tutelary consortiums to grant the trademark to all users of the appellation, the Consortium divided its operations between two organizations: the Consorzio Vino Chianti Classico (Chianti Classico Wine Consortium), which was engaged in protection and oversight, and the Consorzio Gallo Nero (later the Consorzio del Marchio Storico-Chianti Classico or Historic Chianti Classico Brand Consortium) devoted instead to promoting and valorizing wines bearing the Gallo Nero trademark. Finally, concluding a 70-year legal itinerary, a ministerial decree issued on August 5, 1996 gave Chianti Classico its own D.O.C.G., with production regulations different from those for Chianti wine. Since then Chianti and Chianti Classico have been two separate denominations, with different regulations and production zones.
CHIANTI DOCG
Chianti is a product that has made Tuscany famous throughout the world. The clay-limestone soil combined with a favourable climate is ideal for grape cultivation. Rules for the production of Chianti were fixed as early as the 19th century and in 1932 regulations, governing the number of vines that could be grown per hector and the grape varieties to be used, were set. The area of production touches the provinces of Arezzo, Florence, Pisa, Pistoia, Prato and Siena. It’s such a vast area that is subdivided in zones of production such as Classico, Colli Aretini, Colli Fiorentini, Colli Senesi, Colline Pisane, Montalbano, Rufina and Montespertoli. 1 Controllare che il voltaggio indicato sulla targhetta corrisponda al vostro.
2 Non utilizzate mai acqua tiepida o calda per riempire il serbatoio dell’acqua. Utilizzate unicamente acqua fredda.
3 Non toccate con le mani le parti calde della macchina ed il cavo di alimentazione durante il funzionamento.
4 Non pulire mai con detersivi corrosivi o utensili che graffiano. É sufficiente un panno morbido inumidito con acqua.
5 Per evitare la formazione di calcare, si può utilizzare acqua minerale naturale.
ISTRUZIONI SUL CAVO ELETTRICO
A Viene fornito un cavo elettrico abbastanza corto per evitare che si attorcigli o che vi inciampiate.
B Si possono utilizzare, con molta attenzione, delle prolunghe omologate.
C Qualora venga utilizzata una prolunga, verificare:
1 che il voltaggio riportato sulla prolunga sia perlomeno, uguale al voltaggio elettrico dell’elettrodomestico;
2 che sia munito di una spina a tre pin con messa a terra (qualora il cavo dell’elettrodomestico sia di questo tipo);
3 che il cavo non penda dal tavolo per evitare di inciamparvi.

NORME DI SICUREZZA
Destinazione d’uso
• La macchina per caffè è prevista esclusivamente per l’impiego domestico.
• È vietato apportare modifiche tecniche e ogni impiego illecito, a causa dei rischi che essi comportano!
• L’apparecchio non è destinato ad essere utilizzato da persone (compresi i bambini) con ridotte capacità fisiche, mentali o sensoriali o con esperienza e/o competenze insufficienti, a meno che non siano sotto la supervisione di una persona responsabile della loro sicurezza o non vengano da essa istruite sull’uso dell’apparecchio.
Non utilizzare mai l’apparecchio
per scopi diversi da quelli sopra indicati, al fine di evitare pericoli.
• Non introdurre nei contenitori sostanze diverse da quelle indicate nel manuale istruzioni.
• Durante il normale riempimento di ogni contenitore, è obbligatorio chiudere tutti i contenitori vicini.
• Riempire il serbatoio acqua soltanto con acqua fresca potabile: acqua calda e/o altri liquidi possono danneggiare la macchina.
• Non utilizzare acqua addizionata con anidride carbonica.
• Nel macinacaffè è vietato introdurre le dita e qualsiasi materiale che non sia caffè in grani.
• Non utilizzare, per scopi alimentari, l’acqua rimasta nel serbatoio per alcuni giorni, lavare il serbatoio e riempirlo con acqua fresca potabile.
Alimentazione di corrente
• Allacciare la macchina per caffè soltanto ad una presa di corrente adeguata.
• La tensione deve corrispondere a quella indicata sulla targhetta dell’apparecchio.
Cavo d’alimentazione
• Mai usare la macchina per caffè se il cavo d’alimentazione è difettoso.
• Non far passare il cavo d’alimentazione per angoli e su spigoli vivi, sopra oggetti molto caldi e proteggerlo dall’olio.
• Non estrarre la spina tirandola per il cavo oppure toccarla con le mani ed i piedi bagnati.
Protezione d’altre persone
• Tenere i bambini sotto supervisione, per evitare che giochino con l’apparecchio.
I bambini non si rendono conto del pericolo connesso agli elettrodomestici.
• Non lasciare i materiali utilizzati per imballare la macchina alla portata dei bambini.
Pericolo d’ustioni
• Non dirigere contro se stessi e/o altri il getto di vapore e/o d’acqua calda: pericolo di scottature. Usare sempre le apposite maniglie o manopole.
• Non inserire oggetti attraverso le aperture dell’apparecchio.
Spazio per l’installazione, l’uso e la manutenzione
• Non ostruire le aperture di ventilazione e di smaltimento di calore.
• Scegliere un ambiente sufficientemente illuminato, igienico e con presa di corrente facilmente accessibile;
• Non posare la macchina su superfici molto calde e nelle vicinanze di fiamme aperte per evitare che la carcassa fonda o comunque si danneggi.
• Porre a 10 cm di distanza da pareti e piastre di cottura.
• Non tenere la macchina a temperature inferiori a 0°C; c’è il pericolo che il gelo possa danneggiare la macchina.
• La presa di corrente deve essere raggiungibile in ogni momento.
• Non usare la macchina per caffè all’aperto.
Pulizia
• Prima di pulire la macchina, è indispensabile posizionare l’interruttore generale su “O” e poi staccare la spina dalla presa di corrente.
• Inoltre, aspettare che la macchina si raffreddi.
• Mai immergere la macchina nell’acqua! Impedire che venga a contatto con getti d’acqua.
• È severamente vietato cercare d’intervenire all’interno della macchina.
Custodia della macchina
• Quando la macchina rimane inutilizzata per un periodo prolungato, spegnere la macchina e staccare la spina dalla presa. Custodirla in luogo asciutto e non accessibile ai bambini.
• Proteggerla dalla polvere e dallo sporco.
• Non appoggiare oggetti pesanti sul pannello frontale aperto.
Riparazioni / Manutenzione
• Nel caso di guasti, difetti o sospetto di difetto staccare subito la spina dalla presa di corrente. Mai mettere in funzione una macchina difettosa.
• Soltanto i Centri di Assistenza Autorizzati possono effettuare interventi e riparazioni.
• Nel caso di interventi e/o riparazioni non eseguiti da centri di assistenza autorizzati, si declina ogni responsabilità per eventuali danni.

SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS
CAUTION
The espresso machine is for household use. Any servicing other than cleaning and normal maintenance should be performed by an authorized service centre. Do not immerse the machine in water. Any repair should be done only by authorised service centre.

2 Never fill the water tank with warm or hot water. Use only cold water.
3 Keep your hands and the cord away from hot part of the machine during operation.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE POWER SUPPLY CORD
A A short power- cord is provided to reduce risks of getting tangled up or tripping over a longer cord.
B Longer extension cords, may be used with care.
C If an long extension cord is used:
1 The voltage of the extension cord should be at least the same as the voltage of the electric household appliance.
2 if the appliance is of the grounded type, the extension cord should be a grounding type
3 the cable does not hang from the table to avoid the risk of getting caught up in it.
GENERAL INFORMATION
The coffee machine is ideal for preparing espresso coffee using either coffee beans or ground coffee and is equipped with a device to brew steam and hot water.
The elegant styled machine has been designed for domestic use only and is not suitable for professional, continuous use.
Warning. No liability is held for damage caused by:
• Incorrect use not in accordance with the intended purposes;
• repairs not carried out by authorized service centre;
• Tampering with the power cord;
• Tampering with any parts of the machine;

SAFETY REGULATIONS
Intended Use of the Machine
• The coffee machine is intended for domestic use only.
• Do not make any technical changes or use the machine for unlawful purposes since this would create serious hazards!
• The appliance is not for use by persons (included children) with reduced physical, mental or sensory abilities or with scarce experience and/or competences, unless they are supervised by a person responsible for their safety or they are instructed by him/her to use the machine.
Never use the appliance
for purposes other than those indicated above to avoid hazard.
• Never place any substances in the containers other than those specified in the instruction manual
• when you fill a container, make sure all nearby containers are closed.
• Fill the water tank with fresh drinking water. hot water and/or other liquids may damage the machine.

• Water left in the tank for several days should not be consumed. Wash the tank and fill it with fresh drinking water.
Power Supply
• Only connect the coffee machine to a suitable socket.
• The voltage must correspond to the indication on machine’s label.
Power Cord
• Never use the coffee machine if the power cord is defective.
• Do not pass the power cord around corners, over sharp edges or over hot objects and keep it away from oil.
• Do not pull out the plug by the power cord nor touch it with wet hands or feet.
Personal Safety Guidelines
• Prevent children from playing with the machine.
Children are not aware of the risks linked with electrical appliances.
• Do not leave the coffee machine packaging within the reach of children.
Danger of Burns
• Never direct the jet of hot steam and/or hot water towards yourself or others. danger of scalding. Always use the handles or knobs provided.
• Do not introduce objects through the openings in the appliance.
Space for installation, use and maintenance
• Do not obstruct the openings or slot used for ventilation or heat disposal.
• Choose a location that is sufficiently well-lit, clean and near an easily reachable socket;
• Do not place the machine on hot surfaces and close to open flames to prevent its housing from melting or being damaged.
• Maintain a distance of 10cm from walls and burners.
• Do not keep the machine at a temperature below 0°C. Frost may damage the machine.
• The electric socket must be accessibile at all times.
• Do not use the coffee machine outdoors.
Cleaning
• Before cleaning the machine, the power button (5) must be switched to the -0- position and the plug must be removed from the socket.
• Wait for the machine to cool down.
• Never immerse the machine in water! Avoid exposing the appliance to splashes of water.
• It is strictly forbidden to tamper with the internal parts of the machine.
Storing the Machine
• In case of inactivity of the machine for a quite long period, switch it off and unplug it from the socket. Store it in a dry place and out of the reach of children.
• Keep it protected from dust and dirt.
• Never place heavy objects on the front panel when open.
Servicing / Maintenance
• In case of failure, problems or a suspected fault resulting from a fall of the machine, you should immediately remove the plug from the socket. Never attempt to operate a faulty machine.
• Servicing and repairs may only be carried out by authorized service centres.
• All liability for damage resulting from work not carried out by professionals is declined.
Fire Safety Precautions

II. DISPOSIZIONI SPECIALI
1 Oggetto dell’omologazione e ambito di applicazione
1.1 Oggetto dell’omologazione
Le viti da legno Quick Drill, ai sensi della presente omologazione generale per l’edilizia, sono organi di giunzione per elementi in legno, realizzati in acciaio al carbonio organico indurito a bassa frizione e zincato galvanicamente. Esse vengono impiegate per il fissaggio di componenti strutturali realizzati in legno massiccio (legno di conifera), legno lamellare incollato, legno compensato impiallacciato con omologazione generale per l’edilizia, legno per tavole o travi lamellari, materiali a base di legno o di parti in acciaio con elementi in legno massiccio (legno di conifera) e legno lamellare incollato o in legno compensato impiallacciato, legno per tavole o travi lamellari.
1.2 Ambito di applicazione
Le viti da legno Quick Drill possono essere impiegate come organi di giunzione di costruzioni in legno portanti, da dimensionare e realizzare ai sensi delle norme
DIN 1052-1:1988-04 – Strutture di legno; calcolo ed esecuzione -,
DIN 1052-2:1988-04 – Strutture di legno; Giunti strutturali -,
DIN 1052-3:1983-04 – Strutture di legno; Case in legno in tavolati, calcolo ed esecuzione -, ove il presente certificato generale di omologazione per l’edilizia non disponga diversamente.
Le viti possono essere impiegate per la giunzione di elementi in legno conformi alle omologazioni generali per l’edilizia, laddove la rispettiva omologazione relativa alle costruzioni in legno autorizzi la realizzazione di giunzioni in legno per mezzo di viti omologate.
Gli elementi in legno da fissare devono avere uno spessore minimo di 4 - d1 (d1 = diametro esterno della filettatura della rispettiva vite).
La presente omologazione generale per l’edilizia non si applica alle connessioni su pannelli di particelle in legno compresi gli OSB (pannelli a fibre orientate), i pannelli di fibra di legno o i pannelli di legno compensato.
Gli elementi in legno massiccio, legno lamellare incollato, legno compensato impiallacciato o in legno per tavole o travi lamellari possono essere fissati per mezzo di viti con diametro esterno della filettatura d1 ≥ 8 mm solo qualora si utilizzino tipi di legno quali l’abete rosso, il pino e l’abete. Questo vale analogamente per il fissaggio in elementi in legno in conformità alle omologazioni generali per l’edilizia.
Le viti possono essere impiegate esclusivamente per carichi prevalentemente statici (cfr. DIN 1055-3).
Per l’ambito di applicazione delle viti in relazione alle condizioni ambientali si applica la norma DIN 1052-2:1988-04, paragrafo 3.6, tabella 1. Le viti non devono essere impiegate nell’ambito di applicazione ai sensi della norma DIN 1052-2:1988-04, tabella 1, ultima colonna.
2 Disposizioni relative alle viti da legno Quick Drill
2.1 Caratteristiche e composizione
2.1.1 Forme, misure e dimensioni delle viti dovranno essere conformi ai valori indicati negli allegati 1-4.
2.1.2. Le viti dovranno essere fabbricate in acciaio al carbonio come stabilito nella norma interna 230403 dell’Istituto Tedesco per l’Edilizia.

5 The general type-approval for construction must be reproduced exclusively in the complete format. Any partial publication is permitted only on approval by the German institute of construction. Any texts or drawings used for advertising purposes may not be in contrast with what is stated in this general type-approval for construction. Any translations of this general type-approval for construction should contain the following note: "Translation not verified by the German institute of construction for its conformity to the original German one".
6 The general type-approval is granted unless cancelled. The provisions in this general type-approval for construction can be integrated after it is modified, in particular if new technical information is necessary.

1 Object of the type-approval and area of application
1.1 Object of the type-approval
The Quick Drill screws for wood, in accordance with this general type-approval for construction, are joining units for wood elements manufactured in carbon organic steel hardened by low friction and galvanised. They are used for fitting structural components made in solid wood (coniferous wood), glued lamellar wood, and veneered plywood possessing a general type-approval for construction, wood for planks o lamellar beams, wooden material or steel parts with solid wood elements (coniferous elements) and glued lamellar wood or veneered plywood, wood for planks o lamellar beams.
1.2 Areas of use
The Quick Drill screws for wood can be used as joining units for bearing wood structures to be established and made according to the regulations.

DIN 1052-3:1983-04 –Wood structures; Wooden houses planking, calculation and implementation – where this general type-approval certificate for construction should provide differently.
Screws may be used for the joining of wood components in compliance with general type-approvals for construction, where the respective approval for wooden constructions permits the making of joints in wood by means of type-approved screws.
The wood elements to be fitted must have a minimum width of 4 - d1 (d1 = outer diameter of the threading of the respective screw).
This general type-approval for construction does not apply to connections on panels of wood particles in including OSB (orientated fibre panels), wood fibre panels or plywood panels.
Elements in solid wood, glued lamellar wood, veneered plywood, wooden planks or lamellar beams may be fitted with screws having an outer threading diameter of d1 ≥ 8 mm only if using wood types like red maple, pine and fir. This applies equally to the fitting of wood elements in accordance with the general approvals for construction.
The screws can be used exclusively for predominantly static loads (ref DIN 1055-3)
Regarding the scope of the screws in relation to the environmental conditions the DIN 1052-2:1988-04, paragraph 3.6, table 1, is applied. Screws must not be used under the application according to the DIN 1052-2:1988-04, table 1, last column.

1. Valore della produzione
Per quanto riguarda il valore della produzione, si evidenzia un scostamento negativo pari a 60.4 mln di kc (-32.7% rispetto al dato di budget con trend in ulteriore ribasso rispetto al report precedente).
Anche l’andamento del fatturato risulta inferiore alle aspettative; lo scostamento ammonta in questo caso a 64.2 mln di kc per un delta percentuale pari al -33.2% (anche in questo caso il trend è in ribasso).
Come già detto in sede dei precedenti commenti, una parte importante del fatturato (ca. il 90%) è espressa in euro e la stessa è stata valutata nel budget al cambio standard di 26.50 corone per euro mentre il cambio alla fine del mese di ottobre risultava pari a 24.23 corone per euro ciò determinando una riduzione di valore del fatturato riconducibile a niente altro che ai movimenti intervalutari.
2. Costi di produzione
Il peso degli acquisti dei materiali di trasformazione sul valore della produzione (al netto della variazione delle rimanenze) praticamente in lieve anticipo sul relativo dato di budget (66.4% contro il 67.3%).
Si evidenzia che il quantitativo dei materiali consumati è stato inferiore al budget (per i minori volumi di produzione sviluppati), ma l’andamento dei prezzi di approvvigionamento si è rivelato in trend decisamente rialzista (il prezzo medio di budget era stato infatti fissato a € 1.360/ton mentre quello a consuntivo sta risultando pari a ca. 1.440/ton per un incremento percentuale del 5.9%).
Continua comunque ad essere verosimile l’aspettativa di un ulteriore calo dei prezzi di approvvigionamento nell’ultimo bimestre 2008 che dovrebbe portare il peso degli acquisti definitivamente al disotto del livello budgetario.
Il dato relativo alle spese generali risulta inferiore al budget (-11.3% pari a 3 mln di corone di minori costi in valore assoluto con trend in ulteriore miglioramento rispetto al precedente report) mentre il costo del lavoro è risultato superiore alle previsioni (+3.4% pari a 366 mila kc di maggior valore assoluto); ciò in quanto si è deciso di ‘trasferire’ a presidio del neo-costituto reparto di tampografia, le assunzioni temporanee che erano state a suo tempo effettuate per fronteggiare i picchi di produzione coincidenti col periodo estivo.
A causa del rallentamento del valore della produzione realizzata, il margine operativo lordo percentuale risulta inferiore al dato di budget; l’indice risulta infatti pari al 5.8% contro il 12.5% atteso; dal punto di vista assoluto il dato evidenzia invece un arretramento pari a ca. 16 mln di corone.
Il dato relativo agli ammortamenti risulta inferiore di 204 mila kc rispetto al dato preventivato (pari al -1.6%).
3. Utile operativo e gestioni concorrenti
La redditività operativa (EBIT) si attesta intorno ad un valore pari al -4.3% contro il 5.6% riportato dal budget in funzione degli stessi episodi che hanno influenzato l’andamento del MOL (EBITDA).
Si ribadisce che i costi fissi operativi risultano sotto controllo fatta eccezione, per i motivi già spiegati, per il costo del lavoro; i costi operativi variabili sono invece risultati inferiori perlopiù per il minore volume di produzione sviluppato (inferiore rispetto alle attese di oltre il 30% come già evidenziato).
Per quanto riguarda le gestioni concorrenti si deve rilevare l’andamento in linea sostanziale della gestione finanziaria, sfavorevole di 440 mila kc rispetto al preventivato, mentre le gestioni accessoria e straordinaria risultano praticamente nulle.
4. Dati economici mensili – confronto con l’esercizio precedente
Il conto economico di ottobre evidenzia un ritardo del 64.0% del valore della produzione (-10.9 mln di kc) e del 39.7% del fatturato (-2.5 mln di kc).
I costi dell’area operativa sono risultati nel complesso inferiori del 55.2% (-9.1 mln di kc) a causa perlopiù dei minori acquisti di materiali diretti effettuati.
Tra le componenti economiche delle gestioni extra caratteristiche, la sezione finanziaria evidenzia uno scostamento positivo pari a 385 mila kc (per un delta percentuale pari al +46.9%)
Il reddito ante imposte chiude con uno scostamento negativo pari a 1.38 mln di kc (pari al –522.4%).
Il confronto con i dati dello scorso esercizio evidenzia invece un certo anticipo a favore del consuntivo attuale in alcuni contesti ed un ritardo in altri; si è infatti registrato un maggior valore della produzione di ca. 7.8 mln di kc (+6.7%) ma lo sfavorevole andamento del costo medio di approvvigionamento (lo scorso anno i materiali diretti pesavano un 63.3% del v.d.p. contro il 67.3% di questo esercizio) non consente che ciò si traduca in un risultato economico netto altrettanto positivo come quello verificatosi dodici mesi addietro (il netto progressivo scende dai 99 mila kc dell’ottobre 2007 alla perdita pari a 14.2 mln di kc attuale per un delta sfavorevole di ca. 14.3 mln di kc).
5. Investimenti
Per quanto riguarda l’attività di investimento si sono concretizzate acquisizioni tra le varie classi per complessivi 3.3 mln ca. netti contro i 5.6 mln di kc del budget; anche se le risultanze numeriche non sono quelle delle previsioni (delta = 1.1 mln di corone ca. di minore spesa), gli scostamenti evidenziati non sottintendono una rielaborazione del programma.
Si ricorda infatti che una pressa del valore di circa 3.4 mln di kc, acquistata in marzo, è stata poi venduta ad una società di leasing nel mese seguente; motivo per il quale si conferma il commento del capoverso precedente (non rilevando cioè la scelta dello strumento finanziario di sostegno – autofinanziamento piuttosto che fonte esterna - quando il valore degli asset, indipendentemente da ciò, effettivamente inseriti ex novo nel ciclo produttivo).
6. Flussi di cassa
Il prospetto dei flussi di cassa fa registrare un peggioramento rispetto alle attese.
Tale situazione è generata sia da minori incassi (-69.5 mln di kc) sia da minori esborsi (-36.1 mln di kc).
Il dato di indebitamento finale evidenzia così un importo pari a 174.5 mln di kc contro i 137.2 mln di kc del budget per un delta negativo pari a 37.3 mln di kc (si veda a questo proposito anche il diverso dato di indebitamento iniziale che ovviamente gioca un ruolo specifico nella formazione del dato finale).
Si segnala che si è conclusa positivamente la rinegoziazione del mutuo ipotecario in essere la cui scadenza (prevista per il 2012 per la prima tranche e per il 2014 per la seconda) è stata portata a 20 anni dall’erogazione originale (quindi a tutto il 2025) con ovvi risparmi sugli esborsi periodici.
Limitatamente al dato mensile si evidenzia la produzione di un deficit pari a ca. 5.2 mln di kc dovuto perlopiù ai minori incassi operativi realizzati.
Il confronto con i dati dello scorso esercizio allo stesso periodo, evidenziano un recupero della situazione di indebitamento complessivo che, attualmente, risulta inferiore di ca. 16.1 mln di kc.
Si evidenzia poi che si sono potute rimborsare le varie rate dei mutui ipotecari in essere appesantendo però inevitabilmente l’esposizione corrente che passa, in un esercizio, dai 2.5 mln di kc agli attuali 18.8).
7. Quantità vendute
Il dato delle quantità vendute evidenzia un a diminuzione rispetto al budget (372.180.000 pezzi in meno rispetto al preventivato per un delta percentuale pari al -30.7% con trend in ribasso); ciò corrispondendo, come peraltro già evidenziato, ad un minor fatturato per un importo pari a 64.2 mln di kc. pari al –32.7% (dunque anche il livello medio dei prezzi applicati è risultato inferiore rispetto al dato di budget).
Da notare che, fino a questo punto, si accumula un deficit di oltre 37 mln di caps. su base mensile (solo in ottobre tale deficit è pari ad oltre 35 mln di pezzi).
Rispetto allo scorso esercizio invece i pezzi venduti risultano essere inferiori per circa 26.9 mln di unità (-3.1%); l’aggiornamento del listino ha però consentito la crescita assoluta del fatturato.
8. Personale
Il numero dei dipendenti ammonta a 33 unità rispetto alle 36 unità medie del budget.

Commentary on the report dated 31.10.2008
1. Production value
Regarding production value we recorded negative growth in the amount of CZK 60.4 million (–32.7% in comparison with the tendency for a major decrease in relation to the figures contained in the previous report).
Even the growth of invoiced turnover is lower than expected; in this case CZK 64.2 million or –33.2% (also showing a tendency to decrease).
As mentioned in the previous commentary, a significant portion of the turnover (approximately 90%) is expressed in Euros and was given in the budget based on a standardized rate of 26.50 crowns per euro; by the end of August this rate was running at 24. 23 crowns per euro. This fluctuation in the value of the euro was the exclusive cause of the decrease in the value of the turnover.
2. Production costs
The purchase of transformational material had a slightly higher effect on production value (depending on the fluctuation of other material) with regards to the relevant figures in the budget (66.4% versus 67.3%).
It is evidenced that the quantitative of the consumed materials has been inferior to the budget (for smaller developed production volumes), but supplying price development has revealed in trend decidedly aggressive trader (the budget average price had been in fact fixed to € 1.360/ton while the final balance is turning out equal to ca. 1.440/ton for an increment percentage of the 5,9%).
The expectation of an ulterior price reduction of supplement in the last two months 2008 continues however to being realistic bringing the purchases weight lower than the budget level.
General expenses were lower in relation to the budget (–9.5% or CZK 2.1 million lower in relation to the total value, showing a tendency for optimization compared to June’s report) while labor costs were higher than expected (+4.0% or CZK 356,000 more in relation to the total value) as a result of “moving” the tampography division to a newly established location, as well as providing wages for temporary personnel hired as a preventive measure for ensuring production during the summer period, when demand for our products increases.
As a result of the slowdown in achieving production value, the gross operating margin indicator was lower in the budget; 5.8% in comparison to the forecasted 12.5% (a lagging tendency in relation to the latest information); from an absolute viewpoint, this figure shows a lag corresponding to CZK 16 million.
The figure for amortization is CZK 204,000 lower in comparison with the planned figure (–1.6% lower).
3. Operating profit and managing competition
Operating profitability (EBIT) is running close to –4.3% in relation to the 5.6% given in the budget, in relation to the same situation which affected the course of MOL (EBITDA).
Fixed operating costs are under control with the exception of production costs – variable operating costs were shown to be lower as a result of a lower volume of production (lower by 30% we could see).
As for managing competition, it is necessary to point out the positive course of managing financing, with a lower final amount of 440,000 in relation to planned costs, while additional and exceptional costs are practically zero.
4. Monthly financial costs – in comparison with the previous report
The financial costs for August show a lag in production value by 64.0% (CZK –10..9 million) and by 39.7% of turnover (CZK – 2.5 million).
Operating costs showed a comprehensive decrease of 55.2% (CZK –9.1 million) as a result of lower direct purchasing of material.
The financial division showed negative growth in its portfolio of special attributes in the amount of CZK 385,000 (or +46.9%)
Pretax profit showed negative growth in the amount of CZK 1.38million (equal to –522.4%).
There is nothing left to do at the moment other than verify what will occur in the final quarter when it will be difficult to make up the shortcomings that persist to this day despite the continuing drop in supply costs. In comparison with the figures from the previous report, a certain increase can be seen in several connections relating to the current annual balance and in other connections resulting from the lag time; in fact, production value was higher by approximately CZK 7.8 million (+6.7%) but an undesirable trend in the average price of supplies (last year direct material represented v.d.p. 63.3% compared to the 67.3% value stemming from this report) prevented these indicators from showing up in the net financial results, which are positive, the same as for the results which were achieved 12 months ago (the progressive net value has been dropping from CZK 99 thousand since October 2007 with a current loss of CZK 14.2 million for the delta value, equaling an unfavorable CZK 14.3 million).
5. Investment
Concerning investment activity, individual brackets show purchases in the amount of CZK 3.3 million in relation to the budgeted amount of CZK 5.6 million; even the numerical results are at variance with projections (delta = CZK 1.1 milion lower costs) and this deviation will not result in demand for processing the program anew.
It should be noted that the press bought in March for CZK 3.4 million was sold back to the leasing company during the following month, the reason for it confirmed by the situation given in the previous paragraph (there was no external financing used, rather the company’s own capital thanks to putting assets ex–novo into the production cycle).
6. Influx of financing
The influx of financing worsened in comparison with the expectations of the table.
This situation is caused by both lower revenue (CZK –69.5 million) and increased expenses (CZK –36.1 million).
Total debts represent CZK 174.5 million as opposed to the CZK 137.2 million in the budget, with a negative delta value in the amount of CZK 37.3 million (in view of this fact, it is necessary to take into account a different figure regarding the initial debt which, naturally, plays a specific role in the resulting information).
The transfer of the existing mortgage was successfully concluded (the first part of which has to be paid in 2012 and the second part in 2014), which was set for 20 years after the original plan (final payment due in 2025) and provides savings on regular fees.
The creation of a deficit refers to the monthly figure, which is equal to approximately CZK 5.2 million and is caused principally by lower realized operating income.
Comparing the figures given in the preceding report represent a certain recuperation of the situation regarding total indebtedness, which at present is lower by approximately CZK 16.1. million;

The figure for sales volume shows a decreasing tendency in relation to the budget (372,180,000 less items in relation to the forecasted volume, which in percentage terms represents a delta value of –30.7% with a growing negative tendency); this figure, as already noted, corresponds to lower turnover, in the amount of CZK 64.2 million, or –32.7% (the average value of pricing is lower in comparison with the value of the budget).
It should be noted that from the viewpoint of the monthly figures, there is an accumulated deficit of roughly 37 million caps (in October this deficit equaled more than 35 million caps).
In comparison with the past report, the number of caps sold is lower by approximately 26.9 million (–3.1%).

Ingredienti: 400 gr. di tagliatelle.
Per il ragù: 200 g. di polpa di manzo macinata, 50g di pancetta tesa, 1\2 cipolla,
1 carota piccola, 1\2 gambo di sedano, 2 cucchiai di concentrato di pomodoro,
1\2 bicchiere di vino rosso, brodo q.b., olio extravergine di oliva, sale, pepe.
Preparazione: Tritate la cipolla, la carota ed il sedano e a parte la pancetta. Fate rosolare quest’ultima con qualche cucchiaio di olio, quando il grasso si sarà sciolto, mescolando con cura, unite il trito di verdura e, non appena si sarà ammorbidito, ponete a rosolare la polpa di manzo. Mantenete mescolato in modo che la carne assuma un colore bruno uniforme, a questo punto bagnate con il vino e lasciate evaporare. Aggiungete il concentrato di pomodoro sciolto in un po’ di brodo caldo, sale e pepe; abbassate la fiamma e proseguite la cottura a tegame coperto per circa 2 ore. Di tanto in tanto bagnate con un goccio di brodo. Potrete variare la ricetta a vostro piacere utilizzando carni miste, aggiungendo qualche fegatino, insaporendo con funghi freschi. Lessate le tagliatelle, scolatele al dente, e conditele con il ragù.

For the "Sauce": 200g chopped beef, 50g bacon, half an onion, 1 small carrot,
1 stick of celery, 2 tablespoons tomato concentrate, half a glass of white wine, broth (as needed), extra virgin olive oil, salt, pepper.

Directions: Chop the onion, carrot and celery, then the bacon separately. Brown the bacon with a few spoons of oil, when the fat has melted carry on mixing carefully then add the vegetable mix, when this becomes soft, brown the meat. Continue stiring until the meat becomes of a browny even colour, at this point dampen with the wine and leave to evaporate. Dissolve the tomato concentrate in some hot broth, salt, pepper; lower the flame and leave it to simmer for two hours. From time to time add a drop of broth. You can modify the recipe according to your taste, using mixed meat, adding little livers and fresh mushrooms. Cook the fettuccini, drain them and serve with the Bolognese sauce
