I've been a freelance French to English translator for sixteen years. I began by translating texts written by academics, and then pursued it as a career after completing my Master's. After time as an in-house translator, editor and writer, I returned to academia to pursue a D.Phil at the University of Oxford in French literature. I have continued freelancing throughout, and love a challenge! My areas of expertise include academic work (literature, philosophy, social sciences, history); marketing; finance (accounting); business; law (general and contract law); renewable energy; oil and gas; real estate and tourism.
