Hello! My name is Amira Kheir and I am a freelance translator, interpreter and proofreader working in English, Arabic and Italian. I am a native English speaker.

I gained ample experience working as a translator, interpreter and proofreader from Arabic into English and from Italian into English through out my career in freelance translation as well as working with multiple United Nations agecnies and international organisations, including the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural organisation, Minority Rights Group International, Article 19 International, The Advocacy Project, the Mo Ibrahim Foundation and Justice Africa.

My areas of expertise in translation include international development, international law, huaman rights, politics, anthropology, art and tourism.
