Bio

My primary passions in life are languages and linguistics, although I have substantial professional experience in an eclectic range of fields. I began translating in the 90's and continued working in other fields, primarily cinema and AV productions through 2005 and then medical writing since then.
My professional experience covers many fields and has allowed me to learn the correct jargon in a variety of jobs. I am originally from the bilingual (Spanish and English) city of San Diego. I studied French for seven years in school and participated in a short exchange program in Fontainebleau, France, as well as various trips in different parts of France and francophone Switzerland. For many years I lived and worked in various regions of Italy, and since 2005 I have been based in the Barcelona area.
