O sistema de Reiki Usui constitui não só o método de cura mais simples e mais natural que se conhece como, também, a técnica mais eficaz para transferir a energia vital através da simples imposição das mãos sobre o próprio corpo (auto-tratamento) ou sobre o corpo de outrem.
O Reiki não é uma crença nem uma religião; os que o praticam conhecem igual sucesso qualquer que seja a sua religião, filosofia ou ideologia; não deve ser associado ao espiritismo ou ao oculto; também não se interessa pela hipnose ou qualquer outra técnica psicológica. A prática do Reiki não faz da pessoa nem um mágico nem um exorcista. A única “ferramenta” utilizada no tratamento Reiki é uma forma neutra, mas concentrada, de energia cósmica.
COMO FUNCIONA
Uma vez limpo o Canal Energético Autónomo, a pessoa fica apta a canalizar a Energia Universal para si mesmo ou para os outros. COMO ACTUA

Não é o terapeuta (dador) que transmite esta energia mas sim o paciente (receptor) que, segundo as suas necessidades, a aspira pelo canal do dador. A sintonização Reiki pode despoletar um processo de limpeza que afecta não só o corpo físico como também a mente e as emoções; as toxinas armazenadas no corpo podem libertar-se com os sentimentos e os esquemas de pensamento que já não servem.

Translation - English WHAT IS REIKI?
REIKI is a healing technique originated from Tibet over a millennium ago discovered by Dr Usui at the end of last century in Japan.
The word REIKI origins from two Japanese words: REI, meaning UNIVERSAL and KI, meaning VITAL FORCE.
The REIKI Usui system consists not only of the most simple and natural healing method but also the most successful technique to transfer the vital energy through a simple imposition of the hands over the body.
REIKI is neither a belief nor a religion; those who practice it know equal success regardless of what their religion, philosophy or ideology is. It should not be associated to spiritualism or the occult and has no interest in hypnoses or any other psychological technique. The practice of REIKI does not make the person a wizard or an exorcist. The only “tool” in the REIKI therapy is a neutral but concentrated form of cosmic energy.
HOW DOES IT WORK
Once the Autonomous Energetic Channel is cleansed, the individual is apt to channelling the Universal energy to him or to others. The quantity of channelled Universal Energy is not dependent on the intellectual level or on the spiritual development of who is transmitting it, but rather the energetic necessity of the receptor.
HOW DOES IT ACT?
During a session, REIKI penetrates in the body of the therapist through the top of his head (crown chakra) and then spreads to all the body feeding and re-generating the vital centres. It is not the therapist (giver) that transmits this energy but instead, the patient (receptor) that, according to his necessities draws through the channel of the giver. Being an intelligent energy, it directs itself to the body zones that need more healing. A REIKI synchronisation can provoke a cleansing process not only of the physical body but also the mind and emotions; the toxins stored in the body can free themselves with the feelings and patterns of thinking that have no longer use.
WHAT DO YOU FEEL
Each individual reacts in a different way. If there are some that feels relaxation, hot or cold, or even love, it is also true that there are persons that do not experience any type of sensation or emotion. Regardless of the person feeling anything or not, the REIKI always acts.
INITIATION
REIKI is a “guided” Vital Force, because only those who have been attuned can channel it. This attunement is an initiation done by a REIKI Master and it consists in a process of opening the chakras (energy centres), creating a special bond between the initiated and the REIKI source, the Universal Energy source.
