Source text - English ...The symmetrical and self-centering xxx Filter is laser cut from nickel titanium alloy (Nitinol) tubing. The proximal and distal baskets of xx Filter, which consist of struts in a six diamond shape configuration, are designed for optimal clot capture. The baskets are connected by six straight struts which contain a proximal and distal hook designed for fixation of xxx Filter to the vessel wall (Figure 1). The constrained filter is flexible and achieves its unconstrained diameter upon deployment in the IVC.
