Bio
I was born and brought up in Kuwait. As a member of a multicultural family, I naturally grew up with three languages.
Attended private schools with studies centred on foreign languages. High School Graduate. Translation Studies at the Kuwait University.
Worked for the Austrian Embassy in Kuwait and for the Chamber of Commerce in Vienna, with lots of work centred on translating and interpreting.
1991 I was awarded the Honorary Silver Medal of the Republic of Austria for services to the Austrian Embassy during and after the 1990 Iraq invasion to Kuwait.
Then I joined Reuters Middle East Ltd. in Kuwait as an Executive Secretary and Client Support (1992-2002). During this time I also performed translation services to embassies and the private sector.
2002 I moved to Austria.
After a short career break, and a couple of part time jobs (Language services), I started my own translation business, as a full time translator.
